After inspiration from an unlikely source, I began writing the kind of novel I would like to read myself.
"KENDRA" is Giluri, an endangered tribal species, that lives on the coastline of Western Australia.
Her Mothers raised her to be self-sufficient, but when she meets Emily, life outside the water becomes more enticing.
I am an educator and book seller with degrees in Theatre and Visual Arts and Education Support.
I have participated in writing workshops with Linda Jaivin and Catherine Deveny and have also completed a one-woman play (mini-musical) about comedian Mary Hardy.
An outline of "KENDRA" was given an "Honourable Mention" in the Clouds of Magellan Press Novel Competition in 2013.
