Jennifer D. Hacker has been writing poems and stories since before she started Kindergarten. The written word has always been her first and most constant love. When she isn't writing, Jennifer can be found teaching Reading to 7th Grade students, the most frightening creatures known to man. Jennifer is also an avid reader, devouring approximately 8-10 books per week. That number rises greatly in the summer when she isn't teaching.
Jennifer grew up in Kentucky and had many strange experiences while living there. Many of the eerie situations in her debut novel are inspired by real, freaky things that happened to her as a child.
Now living in San Antonio, TX, Jennifer is being raised by her 16 year old son and four spoiled dogs. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Arts in Teaching.
