Rose Red

It was no accident that Princess Elizabeth became Queen. A small series of steps, people influenced at the right time and place to create seemingly serendipitous moments. All perfectly ruled and governed by a secret group known only as Rose Red. Her Uncle's lust creating the gateway for the then Princess to become the Queen who is now retired to her chambers after the celebrations of her 124th birthday.

She was not supposed to rule for this long, but now that Princess Mary has given birth to a healthy daughter, maybe it is time to let the lady pass and the next Queen to be called.  The whole Camilla thing was a ruined PR nightmare that never should have happened. Messy and rushed after Princess Diana's death. Camilla was supposed to ruin Charles reputation and get him out of the line up to take the crown but I suppose things have changed since 1936.

It was almost time for us to consider the best methods to keep Queen Elizabeth alive indefinitely. The prophecy had been quite specific through. For the Royal Crowns land to grow, the Royal Reign must be female for three cycles. With her son Charles bearing two sons of his own the Rose Red had felt the creeping scent of fear on every horizon. Great risk was taken to ensure that Elizabeth never did have a brother to steal the crown out from under her. When Charlotte was born, the nation celebrated and the Rose Red breathed a sigh of relief.

Now for the 'accidental' death of Harry, legitimate heir presumptive by William to secure the crowning of Charlotte. Charles is dead now, although he lasted much longer than we ever imaged he would live but I suppose since his mother had such amazing health at almost 130, it shouldn't be so hard to imagine Charles naturally surviving to the age of ninety eight. Rose Red certainly didn't expect it.

The crowds were starting to get suspicious when The Queen reached a hundred and ten. Now we have almost riots with doctors from around the world invited to see the Queen themselves. Her wellness secrets becoming a bestseller book, a blockbuster in the summer. Although the royal family does have good health on the woman's side, the Queen Mother lived until 101 without any of our interference, even the best of us became suspicious. A small trickery of her meals, the consumption of tiny little nanobots which repair the Queen to the point we determined for her.

You would never find it, the mark that holds all the information, but it is there and it has yet to fail. William and Mary may live out a few more years now that we have ensured William's infertility, but Prince George can be quite a problem. Tonight we implant the first dose of nanobots which will slowly take his health until finally he will die of a seemly unknown and terrible disease of the liver.

For the Queen's Country we serve,

    Rose Red
