Life through my eyes

Life was good once. Especially that day when I turned twelve. My friends came over to my house. Soon mountains of presents were on top of the table. We were so excited that we decided to climb a tree in my back garden. I didn't even want to climb up it; I have always had a fear of heights. But it was my friends, so I did it. I didn't know I was going to fall. I didn't know my life was going to change forever. I didn't know that I couldn't have a good future. This is life, life through me eyes.

Chapter one

I was rushed to the hospital immediately. The nurses announced I had actually fractured my arms and broke my legs. I cried and cried until my throat was sore.

"It's okay Mackenzie, you're going to be fine" my mum said, her voice shook. I knew I wasn't going to be okay.

"Mum, my arms are fractured and my legs are broken! How  I going to be fine?!" I said, shaking on the hospital bed. "The nurses will take care of you, hunny" my dad placed his arm on mine.

"What?! Aren't you staying here?" my jaw dropped.

My mum and dad looked at each other.

"Yes, of course we are! We'll visit every day.. we just have to go home and bring you back some things" my mum explained.

"Well, how long will I have to stay in hospital?" I whispered.

"Probably a few weeks" a nurse- who was dressed in dark blue and white- said as she came in through the door.

"Don't move. It'll hurt your legs" she exclaimed. I could tell that she wasn't in a good mood. But why?

I woke up in the middle of the night and fell out of bed. "Ouch" I whispered to myself quietly.
