 Billy ,although only a boy of 7, had felt the sting of the colonisers whip upon his young flesh more than he cared to remember. His bare back, furrowed with pains scars lay testament to that.What was Billy's crime? How could one so young be treated with such malovelence? Billy's only crime was that he was born a boy of the land on the banks of the once sacred river. Under the birthing tree that for Millenias gave life to his peoples as they entered this realm from the spirit pool. You see, Billy's entire people were massacred and 5 years on Billy realised he was the prize
