It had been 3 years since the death of Harry Osborn. Peter Parker had married Mary Jane Watson, and they had a son together. In the time following the wedding, a new villain threatened the city. After countless attempts by the police, Spiderman finally catches him. He leads the figure towards a police van that sits waiting for them. As he is put in the truck, the officers laugh at his costume, which is green with purple highlights and has a glass dome helmet on the top. They remove his helmet, and he is revealed to be the same referee from the wrestling match Peter fought in. He cusses Spiderman out as the van doors are closed. Spiderman watches as the van drives away, and then swings into the city. He enters his bedroom located in a new penthouse in Queens where he removes his costume. He leaves the room and comes faces to face with Mary Jane. "How did it go?", she asks. "It was fine.", responds Peter, "He was pretty easy to catch." "Good.", says Mary Jane, "I guess..." "What's wrong?", asks Peter. "Your hero role. That is what is wrong!", says MJ, "You need to stop for a while. Your son needs you." "But the city needs me MJ.", responds Peter, "You know how hard it was for the Police to catch that Mysterio guy." "But that was different. They can handle everything else!", says Mj. "Not everything!", says Peter, "You know that!" "Yes.", says MJ, "But you can't always go out. If I was with Harry-" "Don't bring Harry into this MJ.", says Peter, "He wouldn't want us to fight." "Hmph.", says Mary Jane, "I'm going to the store." She picked up Ben and walked out the door. Peter could not take any more of this. He walks out the door and rides the elevator down to the first floor. He goes over to a nearby coffee shop where he orders a mocha. He sits down at a table by himself, where he thinks about MJ. His role as a superhero seemed more like a neverending curse than a blessing. Suddenly a woman in a green dress walks up to him. "You look like you are having a bad day.", she says. She sits down next to him and she turns towards him. "My names Felicia Hardy. What's yours?", she asks. "Peter Parker.", says Peter, "I'm just having problems with my current wife." "Would she mind if you cheated?", asks Felicia, smiling, "Because I wouldn't mind." "Uh.", says Peter, "Well I-" Felicia cuts him off and kisses him on the lips. "I guess she wouldn't mind that much.", says Peter. They continue talking about their lives, and 5 minutes later they prepare to leave. "Can we meet for a real date later?", ask Felicia. "Yes.", responds Peter, "I promise." Both of them walk out of the cafe, and Peter returns home to his penthouse. His life was beginning to look up.         

                Later that night, at Oscorp tower, a group of scientists are working on various projects. A man with a large gun and metal wings flies up to one of the tower windows where he blasts it open. He flies up the stairs and blasts open a door to a laboratory. He grabs a large set of wings and presses a button on them. They compress into a small microchip, which he places into a bag. He then takes an assortment of different peices of technology. He puts the tech into his bag, and leaves the room. Two guards run in and fire their weapons, but the man knocks them down with ease, and he flies through another window. He hovers in the air and pulls out a plasma gun which he aims at the side of the building. He fires knocking out the front wall, and knocking off several letters. He prepares to fly away, but then a police helicopter flies behind him. "Come down with your hands up!", says a police officer from inside the helicopter. "I think not!", says the winged man. He fires his gun at the tail blades, making the helicopter fall down below. Suddenly, a large net of webbing appears under the helicopter where it lands. "What?", asks the winged man aloud. "Hey beaky!", screams Spiderman. He swings upwards and attaches his webbing to the wings. "Really?", ask the winged man. He clenches his fist, which makes the wings cut the webbing off. Spidey falls down below, and shoots another line of webbing. He follows behind the winged figure. The figure flies sharply around the city like a vulture in the sky. "No! I must have my revenge!", says the Vulture. He turns around the corner and flies towards a large skyscraper. "Revenge?", asks Spiderman, "Revenge for what?" "That fool Osborn stole my technology.", says the Vulture, "He ruined my life just like what you are doing now." He continues flying towards the building and acts as if he is going to hit it, but he suddenly flies upwards, making Spidey crash into the building. He falls down towards the ground below. He shoots his webbing and swings onto a nearby rooftop. He watches as the Vulture flies away into the distance. "Osborn took his technology?", wonders Spiderman outloud. He swings into the city and sneaks into Oscorp. He enters an archive room, as police officers run by. He sits down at a computer and looks up Oscorp partnerships. He notices one between Osborn and a man named Adrian Toomes, who looked just like the Vulture. The archive says that Osborn and Toomes collaborated, but then Toomes left after seeing that his technology was being duplicated without his consent. "Hey!", says a voice. Spiderman shuts off the computer and swings out of the window as a security guard walks in. He swings into the distance, wondering how much he really knew about Norman Osborn.         

                Felicia Hardy returns home the next day and is greeted by a figure in the shadows. "Where have you been?", asks the figure. "I met someone.", says Felicia. "Can we trust him?", asks the figure. "Yes.", says Felicia, "He's just a guy. He's too nice to want to hurt you." "Good.", says the figure, "Oh, and stay here tonight. I have something I need to take care of." "Ok.", says Felicia. The next day, Peter watches as Felicia enters the restaurant he is seated in. They had decided to meet at the same French restaurant that Peter once met Mary Jane at. Felicia sits down at his table and they talk about their family. "What was your family life like?", She asks. "My parents left me when I was younger.", says Peter, "I used to live with my aunt and...uncle." "What's wrong?", asks Felicia. "My uncle ben was accidentally shot when I was still in high school.", says Peter. "Ah, I see.", says Felicia, "I hardly knew my mother or father." "Have you dated anyone before me?", asks Peter. "Oh, no. No one at all.", says Felicia. "Good.", says Peter, "I was wondering if you wanted to-" "PETER!", exclaims a voice. Peter turns around and sees the angry face of Mary Jane. "Mary Jane!", says Peter, "I was just-" "Don't even try to think of an excuse!", exclaims Mary Jane, "Me and my son are leaving you. Don't try to come back!" She walks out as people sitting at the other tables look over at Peter. "Well, I guess we can just get together now.", says Peter gloomily. He did not expect this to happen so soon. "Great idea.", says Felicia, "But not right now." She gets up and puts on her coat. She waves bye as she walks out the door. Peter gets up and leaves too. He returns to his old apartment and looks at his suit. "Why do I even need you?", he asks. He prepares to throw the mask into his closet, but then notices a figure fly past his window. He puts on his suit and swings out the window. The Vulture looks back and notices him. "Why do you insist on following me?", asks the Vulture. He grabs an orange goblin grenade and throws it at Spiderman. "It's a good thing that I swiped this from Oscorp!", he says as the grenade goes off. He flies towards a grey building in the distance with the symbols OL-1 on it. "Once I destroy this duplication building, there will be only one true Vulture!", he says. "Not if I have anything to say about it!", says Spiderman, shooting a web at him. He falls backwards, dropping a brown duffel bag. "Argh!", he says, straightening himself back up. As they fight up above, the flap of the duffel bag falls down, revealing multiple grenades that have been activated. "I will destroy you!", exclaims the Vulture, "I won't fail like Norman did!" "How do you know that he's the Goblin?", asks Spiderman. "I figured that it was the case when I first saw him!", responds the Vulture. He pulls out a large gun and prepares to fire, but Spiderman punches him backwards. Suddenly, a large explosion goes off, and the Vulture is caught in the blast. Spiderman catches his body and lays it on the ground. There was no pulse. "I didn't want this to happen!", exclaims Spiderman angrily. He swings away in shame as the fire department arrives to put the building out.
