Day In Day Out
The funny man
When the man came to town,
Nobody noticed him,
Or his sense of humor which was snappy
Back then He could make everyone laugh and shift,
To being and feeling happy,
But sadness came about and He didn't share his gift,
In this town,
Which was his last town.
The room
The blue tiki light illuminated the mess,
The sharp Legos act as nails,
That put together my imagination,
My bear welcomes me like an old friend,
And my fuzzy pillows become cuddly buds,
The delicious scent of shortbread cookies filled the air,
A timer goes off and then stopes,
That was the only noise,
I take a deep breath,
In,
Out,
I am home.
Light
Look at the bright light,
It is a beautiful sight,
But then it turns off,
And back on,
Then off,
And then I see my little light.
Laughing.
