I left in December of 2015. I didn't want to leave, but I had to. My family, friends, everyone was staying. But of course, my parents just had to decide that going to a boarding school for a while would do me good. After a while though, they finally came to their senses and brought me home in March of 2016. It had been 4 months, and all my old friends had made new ones and replaced me. I felt alone. I thought it would be great to be back, but I guess not. I walked into my first class 15 minutes late. At the sound of the door, everybody looked up, with faces of recognition and remembrance. Mrs. Jacobs, my science teacher walked over. 

"Class, this is Donna. She just arrived from California."

"We know. " the class echoed.
