It was hot that day. Water was spraying down from Ellie. Poppy was running in and out of the water. Naomi was lying down, under a tree. Oscar was up in a tree, watching from above. Carrie was sitting next to Oscar, looking for things to eat.

Percy was hot but he didn't want to join the fun. He walked away from them to find his own water source and on the way he found Oscar's favourite cat costume. He thought that if he keeps it Oscar would do anything to have it back. Maybe Oscar would stop all the fun. That's what he thought...

It turns out that the costume had been lost for ages so Oscar had already bought a better one. But Percy didn't know that.

So a a week later, Percy was practicing how to smile because he can't smile properly. He had to pretend to be friends with Oscar.
