I saw Venus in the sky

She brought a tear to my eye

As the night it sparkled on

I sang my favourite songs

And all the stars looked down 

As Venus wore her crown

Never would she be ignored 

For she earned her just reward

Forever she will shine

How I wish that she was mine

In the heavenly skies above

She shows the earth true love
