Universal Health Care
But instead of a comprehensive health care system that gives everyone the security of health and safety, without the fear of getting sick or hurt, the United States Government thought it was a great idea to pass The Affordable Care Act, or what is known as Obamamcare.
The name sounds wonderful. If people can’t afford health care and they fall or get sick they may go without treatment, or go bankrupt trying to pay for this bills. The hospitals are able to charge outrageous rates for everything from X-Rays to cancer screenings to open heart surgery. The machines require maintenance and the staff requires a paycheck, but after those things are taken out, where does the rest of that money go?
For a person who doesn’t have health insurance, getting hurt is the worst possible fate. They often find ways to treat themeself or simply suffer through the pain. If they continue to work, the quality of their work will fall, which could result in less productivity and efficiency possibly leading up to their termination.
Everyone mow is required to have health insurance. That actually sounds like a great idea! But if you don’t have insurance, you will be fined. Wait, what?
