Fear

A door with no windows

 A door with no windows

And a lock and key

A door with no windows

Frightens me

A door with no windows

Where he can see

A door with no windows

Where he is free

Free to hide

Hide the pain

Pain that he gives to me

Pain of his hands

Pain on my skin

Pain in my body

Pain in my heart

A door with no windows

And a lock and key

Leigh Brincat

This one had me say "Wow" with one eyebrow raised, after finishing the poem. I like it.

The fear of death

Death the one thing everyone tries to run from

Death the thing that is at the end

Death of a love one that gives you pain

Death the thing that my ptsd cry’s for

Death I never want to feel

Death the one I need

Death my biggest fear

Death my demons crave
