A Collection Of Poetry
Dreaming of dreams to dream of
Over mountains
And Across sparkling streams
Is where I'm asking you to Run away with me dear
And into your dreams.
Where stars are scattered across sky's of navy
Lying under trees
And serving biscuits and gravy
Or sailing across seas
In satin or wool
Come with me dear
For you I could not fool.
Under waves where corals grow
We could venture where no one, not a soul would dare to go
And unless you don't dream
Whether we have fun is something, unfortunately we will never know.
You could pack your bags
And I will pack my own
Whether we be children or that of people full grown.
Because my dreaming dear friend
Such things should never end.
Not now not ever
Whether we be in the sky, under the sea or in fields of heather..
A relationship fail.
It is
It was
It could still be
But never truely was
That thing between you and me
Because
Or what if
When I chanced a glance
I couldn't actually see
Past the weird little jests and taunts you would point out to me...
I guess
I think
And realise to
That mirror we were just never meant to be
Because
Or so I believe
That from my reflection I could try to be...
