In Which I Beg You to Listen

In Which I Beg You to Listen
The voices have been silenced for too long.
Passing murmurs of infidelity or gossips of old friends
self contemplation and examined sufferings
reaching a strongly opinioned ear but mute by closed mouths
It is time.
Let the voices be heard.

Birth of A New Beginning
We remember soft petals
Cascading down pristine bodies
our brains, a train wrecked symphony complete
with wailing of sirens
and
thick numbness
grasping to break free; to escape
the lioness; once regal and proud,
tore at our throats
leaving me in shambles
a whisper of a past self
I question where we have gone.
Too Weak to Fight, Too Proud to Lose
Will you give in,
make your answer ‘yes’
when you’ve cried ‘no’ for so long
so tired
so stubborn
will you lose your fight
allow silent thieves to slip and steal so unwillingly snatched
your consent?
