Introduction

It was the day before I was supposed to leave for the university. I had gotten into Harvard, which wasn't much of a surprise but i was still jumping over the moon, maybe not as much as my parents but i was pretty close. It's not like i was their first child to go to University, in fact i was their last, but for some reason they behaved as if i was. I stood in my room tumbling through my closet, my parents were throwing this big brunch and i had to look presentable. I finally found some clothes, brightly colored of course, I mean neon love, but as you can guess by now i was pretty happy. Everyone was gonna be there, my parents, siblings, aunts, uncles and my closest friends. I really had no reason to be sad, today was going to be the first of my totally awesome future.

Five Years Later.

I took a deep breath, unfolded my fist before the man turned around to shake my hand. I took his hand and felt like grimacing but i held it back, he said something but i didn't hear him over the grinding of my teeth. His hands were sweaty against my dry ones, he was nervous and he should be, i wanted to repeatedly slam him into the wall and watch as the blood poured from his cracked skull, the image alone made a smile tug on my lips, but sadly the company i worked for was dependent on this deal. He finally finished what he was saying, i nodded and watched as he walked out the door, i dropped the contract on the table, undid a few of my buttons and went to the window to smoke. Oh what a day.
