It was five years ago when Gabriel mat Candice, It was love at first sight for him. They mat at a collage party. He seen her like no other woman. She stood there with her short cut brown hair and her black dress. As he look at how her curves fits her dress, he sees she's beautiful. 

He was nervous to walk up and say hi because she wasn't like any other girl he mat. So he asked his best friend Joel to introduce them two. As Joel walks up to Candice, Gabriel watches and smiles. Joel points to him to come over to them. 

Gabriel was one of the cutest men in his collage. He could've had any girl but she ran after Candice. Candice told him she's in the law school two miles away from him. They mat at the Starbucks in between their schools. Gabriel always made her smile. He knew he had to have her. 

After graduation, Candice became a Lawyer and Gabriel became a FBI agent. Gabriel and Candice moved in with each other. They started dating. And Candice was happy then ever. 

 It's the early morning of November 1st, Gabriel was on his laptop in the office room of their house. Candice was still sleeping since it was her day off. 

As Candice woke up and wiped her eyes, she walks pass the office to see that Gabriel was half sleep in the chair with his laptop open. She walks in and seen that he was working on the case of William Smith. She wraps her arms around him, waking him up. 

"Good Morning honey." Candice said.

"Hey Babe." Gabriel yawned. 

"What you doing up early as hell? It's only 6 a.m." Candice asked standing beside him.

"Working on this case. I'm falling asleep trying to look over it." Gabriel said.

"This is kicking your ass." Candice laughed. 

"I know." Gabriel laughed. "Are you going to make some breakfast before I leave for work?"

"Yeah. Sure, I will." Candice nodded. 

Candice gets up then walks down to the kitchen. Since it was Candice's day off, she planned her day. She's going to see her older sister Kamilla. It was her sister's birthday today. An hour later, 7:00, Gabriel comes downstairs in his suit and bag ready for work. He sits down at the table with Candice and talked. Gabriel asks her what she has planned today. She told him she's seeing her sister. After, she's meeting him for lunch. Gabriel then grabbed his bag and kissed Candice goodbye. He drove off in his BMW. 

Gabriel parks his car and gets out. He starts walking towards the building then a voice yelled his name. 

"Gabriel! Gabriel!"

When he turned around it was Catherine. Catherine is one of his coworkers. Catherine is well known around the office. Not as you think but for being one of the most beautiful women there. She's also the youngest person to work for the FBI. She's in her last year of collage and she's only 25 years old. She also as the biggest crush on Gabriel. 

Catherine and Gabriel has a little secret that no one doesn't know. One night he was over her house working on a case. It was nothing going on until Catherine offered him one to many drinks. One thing lead to another and then they slept together. Gabriel made a mistake and their friendship haven't been the same since. Catherine fall in love with him and Gabriel tried to stay away from her. But it's kind of hard to working in the same building. 

"Hey, Good morning Gabe. How are you?" Catherine said. 

"Ah Hey Cat. I'm doing good. How are you?" Gabriel said. 

"I'm fine, now that I'm talking to you."    Catherine said looking at Gabriel.

"Cat-"

"Gabe, I still think about that night. The way-"

"We're not speaking of that night again. We agreed to that." Gabriel interrupted. 

"But it was so magical. It was like I was in a dream."

"I got to go."

Gabriel was walking away because it's like Catherine didn't understand. 

"Gabe.....Gabe.... Where you going?" Catherine yelled. 

Gabriel wasn't listening to her. He was focusing on getting away from her. 

It was 11 o'clock, Candice was getting her outfit ready so she can go to her sister's house. When she got out the shower, the doorbell rang. When she walked downstairs to the door, it was Kamilla. She was surprised when she opened the door. Kamilla greeted her with a hug. She smiled as she closed the door behind herself. They sat in the kitchen and talked. 

"What you doing here? I was coming to you." Candice said. 

"It's okay. I'm half to come over. It's my day off, the kids in school, so I wanted to get out the house." Kamilla said sitting at the table. 

"How are the kids?" 

"They're  good. They're getting big."

"I wanna come see them sometime. Or you can bring them here."

"Not a bad idea. I'll think about it."

"Happy birthday. What does Greg has planned for you?"

"Thank you, but I don't know. I'm 35 now I can't believe it. I'm old as hell."

"I'm along with you, I'm turning 28 in two days."

They both laughed then all of a sudden Candice ran to the bathroom. Kamilla was worried so she followed her.

"What's wrong, are you feeling okay?" Kamilla asked as she leaned on the bathroom wall.

"I think I ate something bad." Candice said whipping her mouth. 

"Are you pergnent?" 

"Ummm. Well."

"You're talking to me, you're sister. I know. Trust me."

"Yes, i am. But I want to tell Gabe first."

"It could still be that way."

Candice nodded her head as her and Kamilla continued talking.

Gabriel just came in his office after a long meeting. Joel knocked on his door to get his attention. Joel is his co worker and best friend. She introduced him and Candice. Her and Candice are close as well. She came in with a folder full of pictures of William Smith, the bad guy. 

"Where you go." Joel said. "The information you asked me to look up. This William guy is bad news. You know he robbed two house and killed those people."

"Where's Mac?" Gabriel asked. 

"He's in his office." Joel said. 

"I need him here. Now!" 

"I'll tell him right away."

Joel walked out to go get Mac. Catherine walked passed then knocked on his door. She was kind of nervous to ask the question she wanted to ask but she just went on to say it. She knocks on the door. Gabriel looks up sees its Catherine. 

"Ah, hey Gabe, I need to ask you a question." Catherine said. 

Gabriel looks at her then said, "What's up?" 

"Well I have a term paper due. And I need some help."

"You know not to ask me. The other time won't repeat itself."

"I wasn't trying to say that. But if you want that to happen it could." She smiled. 

"I'm not going near your house again."

"I can't stop thinking of you."

Gabriel stood up then lean over towards Catherine.

"We're not talking about this anymore. Get us out of your head. It won't never happen again. Understand?"

"What I don't understand is, I can't help it that I'm in love with you."

Catherine then gets up out the seat then walked back to her desk. She knew him and Candice were together. In her mind she should want be in Candice's spot. Gabriel stops her to ask a question.

"Hey, what you doing tonight?"

"Well, I don't know. I might finish my term paper."

"Come to the party."

"Party"

"Yeah, its Candice and her sister's dinner party." 

Catherine looked at Gabriel and then her hands, "Sure, I'll be there."

She walks out his office with a smile. When Joel looked at her, she ran into Gabriel's office. Gabriel was on his laptop looking up information about William's where abouts. 

"What did you just do?" Joel wined. 

"What you mean?" Gabriel asked closing his laptop. 

" I hope you didn't invite that bitch to the party."   

"I did."

"Why do you hate me so much?"

"Shut up Jo."

"I'm serious. You know we don't get along. Plus Candice really to mess with her neither."

"It will be fine. Besides it looks like she wanted to go."

"Catherine is in love with you."

"Really? I thought she had a boyfriend."

"Don't play dumb, Gabe."

"Enough about Cat. Where's Mac, I need the rest."

"He was right behind me. He should be coming now."

When Joel said that Mac was at the door standing there smiling. He assumed Joel was talking about him. He walked in and they started talking about the case since Mac had the rest. They still didn't crack the case. Gabriel started talking about the surprise birthday dinner for Candice and Kamilla. He told Joel and Mac that Grag, Kamilla's boyfriend was helping out. And that he has a big surprise for Candice.

When 1:00 hit, Gabriel went to Friday's where him and Candice were meeting up at. He had the table next to the window, where she likes it. A few minutes passed when Candice walked in. She looked so nervous because she was going to tell Gabirel the good news but she doesn't know how he's going to react. She walks towards him then sits across from him. He seen that something was wrong because she usually in a good mood. 

"What's wrong with you." He asked.

Candice looks up to him then said, "I have to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"Well, I'm-"

"Oh my god, you cheating?"

"Gabirel!"

What? Tell me now Candice. I'll shut up."

"I'm trying to tell you I'm pregnant."

"Ah, Wow."

"That's all you can say? Is 'Ah,wow'."

"Umm, congratulations."

"Really? I can't believe you."

Candice was getting up to leave when Gabriel grabbed her hand. 

"I'm joking,Damn. I'm happy you're pergnent. I'm going to be a daddy."

Candice smiled and kissed him. 

After they ate, Gabriel was walking Candice back to her car. They ran into Catherine. It was a awkward moment to Gabriel because it was Candice, his girlfriend for five years and now the mother of his unborn child. Then it was Catherine, his coworker and the woman he slept with. 

"Hey Gabe. Candice." Catherine said.

"Katelyn." Candice replied. 

"It's Catherine."

"Um Yeah, that."

"Anyway, we gotta go." Gabriel cut in. 

"Well, I guess I'll see you later. Bye. 

Catherine watches as Candice and Gabirel walk away. How he hold her hand and see beautiful in her eyes. She wanted that. She wanted a man....like Gabriel. That's tall, dark and handsome. That has dark brown eyes. She sees that in Gabriel. That's why Candice is with him. She sees the same thing Candice do. 

"What is with her?" Candice asked.

"What you mean?" Gabirel replied.

"She was keep on looking at you. Do she like you?"

"I'm not paying her no mind Babe."

Candice looked back at her then continued to walk with Gabirel. Gabirel comes in from lunch and he sees Joel and Catherine arguing. He takes a deep breath then walked over. 

"Ladies.....ladies. What a beautiful day, isn't it?" He says walking over.

Joel looked like she was about to pop. So did Catherine. Gabirel tried to tell them this isn't the place to fight. Joel then calmed down then said,

"Listen Catherine, you're being a total bitch. You just need a man in your life. You'll be fine."

Catherine balls up her face then said, "I don't need advice from you. You'll be the last person I'll ask for advice. You don't even have a man."

Joel was about throw a punch at her but Gabirel stopped her. Catherine sat back down at her desk. Joel walked with Gabirel to his office.

"Jo, you let her get under your skin. This is work. If you want to keep it, then do that at a different time and place." Gabirel said. 

" I know Gabe, but that bitch knows what she's doing."

"Don't feed into her."

Joel nodded her head then got up to go back to her desk. 

 It was around 8 o'clock and people was starting to arrive. Some people Candice didn't see in a while. Candice and Kamilla pulled up in the drive way. 

"They're coming. Everyone Quiet!" Danny, their brother said. 

Candice opens the door then everyone shouted, "SURPRISE!"

"Oh my god." Candice smiled. 

"Wow." Kamilla said.

Candice hugged Gabirel with a smile. 

"Gabe, my birthday not until Friday. U know that." She said.

"I know that. I have a surprise."

"What is it?"

Gabirel took Candice's hand and stood in the middle of everyone. When Candice looked over she seen David, her father. She let go of Gabriel's hand and looked at him with anger. 

"What's wrong with you?" Gabirel asked.

"You invited David!" Candice Wispered angrily.

"Candice he's your father. He wanted to you." Gabirel said. "Candice....Candice!"

Candice ignore Gabirel calling her. She walks over to David. She didn't want to see him at all.

"Why are you here?" Candice rushed. 

"I wanted to see you." David said. 

"Well, I don't wanna see you." Candice said. 

"Candice I wanted to see you and your sister. It's your sister's birthday." David said. 

Gabirel walked over and grabbed Candice's hand then walked back in the middle of the floor. He announced him and Candice were having a baby. Everyone applaud.

"Oh damn. Congrats baby sis." Danny said hugging her. 

"Congregations!" A voice yelled out.

Candice turned around and sees it was her cousins she didn't see in a while. She was so happy to see them. 

"Oh my god, Viv, Katlyn. You're here." Candice smiled.

"Girl, we had to. Plus now we know you have a little one in there." Vivian said.

"You know what you're having yet?" Katlyn asked.

"Not yet." Candice said. 

David touched Candice's shoulder, "Candice, congregations on the baby. I want to help out as much as I can." He said.

"Thanks. But no thanks." Candice said.

"Why not." 

"David, do you really think you deserve to see my child."

"Candice, I'm your father. You need to call me dad."

"I don't need to do anything. David, you my father but you're not a dad to me."

"Candice!"

"You know what, enjoy the party.......I guess."

Candice walked away from David before she say something that she'll regret. Gabriel then told everyone that he has a trip planned for two weeks for Candice's birthday. Candice had a big smile on her face. She was so surprised. Catherine was mad that she was getting all the attention. She seen Joel then walked over to her.

"Well, it looks like both of us made it to the party." Catherine said. 

"Ugh, it's you. What are you doing here?" Joel said disgusted.

"I.....unlike yourself.....was invited."

"Are you sure you didn't hoed yourself here." Joel laughed.

"What."

"Are you sure it's not because he felt bad for you."

"Is that what he said? You don't think it's not because of guilt."

"What you mean?"

"Oh nothing. I see I'm needed else where. See you."

Catherine had Joel looking lost when she was walking away. Greg and Gabirel bring out the cake. It had 'happy birthday Kamilla and Candice' on it.

"This cake is beautiful.c" Kamilla said.

"We agreed to have a little what Candice like and what you like." Greg said.

They both blow out the candles and then cut the cake. After hours of partying. It was 1 am. Everyone started to leave. Candice was at the door saying her goodbyes to her family and friends. Vivian and Katlyn walked over to Candice and said their goodbyes. David walked up to her again to talk.

"Candice, we need to talk." David said.

"Ugh, you didn't go home yet." Candice said rolling her eyes.

"Candice, what the hell is your problem?"

"David, you really don't know what you did?"

"All I know is you have a problem with Mal."

"Ah, Candice , Dad I think we should talk about this another time." Danny stepped in.

" No Danny, David needs to hear this." Candice said. "David, you took that woman side before your own daughter's. You pushed me away. You let her get between us and that's not right at all."

"You know that's not true. She's my wife." 

"That doesn't mean you can push your kids away from you. Because you know what, you'll need us before we need you."

"You don't know what you're talking about."

"Nah, I really do. Because you see that woman over there." Candice pointed to her mother, Zoe. "She broke her back for us. Something you should've did."

"Candice you were young and you didn't know what happened back then."

"I knew you weren't there!" 

It was silence as Zoe stepped in. Zoe is Candice and Danny's mother and David's ex-wife.

"David, maybe we can talk about this another time. You should know Candice is emotional right now. She's pergnent." Zoe said. 

David agreed then looked at Candice. He went in for a hug but Candice pushed him away. She didn't want to talk right now. David walked out. She said her goodbyes to her mother and Danny.
