My Life Goals and Echievments

Introduction

Throughout my childhood I never knew what I wanted to become in the future. I always had an exicememt of taking things apart and putting them back together. I wanted to become a lot of things but a chef didn't come into my mind at all. I loved my moms home cooked food every night. When I was at the age of 10 I joined a after school club where I can go do homework, play at the gym, make friends but one day I looked that they had many clubs as well. I looked through the list and saw nothing interested me so I went with a cooking club. On the first day at the cooking club it was all basic stuff about kitchen safty and not so fun subjects. I was bored and didn't like it at all. I came home when my parents got back and told them I didn't have fun at all and didn't want to stay in it. My parents convinced me to stay so I did. My parents are very willing to see what I will become. My parents said never give up on my dreams even tho there will be many hurdles That will come my way in life. The next couple days were the same,not much action as u will say haha. Th second week I was walking into the kitchen and theres different ingredients and equipment on the table and I got a little happy. We were gonna learn about different cultures, spices and ingredients. That first day we learned Chinese cuisine and we made chicken stir fry. There was bean sprouts, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil and many other ingredients. They showed us how it was made and then we were given a chance to make the same dish with the supervision of the teacher. After I made the stirfry I was omg I made it perfect. Tasted good and everything was on point. I went home that night and told my parents what I made and they were happy for me. The next day we were making Mexican food. Made enchiladas with fresh red sauce. I loved learning about the different flavor profiles. Once again my food came out the great. I told my parents when I grow up I want to be a chef and have many high end restaurants, and be a celebrity chef. Parents said go for it. Since then I have my goals on being a chef and nothing else. I learned a lot about the kitchen and the different foods of many cultures throughout the 3 weeks of the club. I now knew what I really wanted to be and have a passion for. The next couple years I cooked with my mom learned many indian recipes. Also I experimented with different Ingreients and fuisioned them together. My whole family loved my food and friends enjoyed being my guinni pigs. After being in Toronto Canada for 9 years my family and I moved to New Jersey. Everything was somewhat new to me. Had to make new friends over again, had to get settled down and get used to the way the school worked. In between all the school work and after school activities I always found time to gather up ingredients and make a bomb ass dish. Now that I was 14 and in New Jersey I csme to my first hurtle which was academic classes.
