Have You Seen My Daughter? short story.

Run!

 “Girls, 10 more minutes then it’s time to come inside for dinner,” Alexis and Amy’s mum said to then just before 6pm. Amy sighed, but Alexis just nodded. With that, the two girls carried on playing with there dolls in the front garden. Alexis and Amy’s dad was going to be home from work any minute now, so they decided to make a surprise entry for him, Alexis ran inside and grabbed her feather scarf, whilst Amy ran inside to get cello tape, paper and crayons. The girls came back outside and stuck the feather scarf above the door, then writ on the paper, 

“Welcome home Daddy” 

There dad had only been gone since 6am this morning, but they were both only six, and after all, it was a bit of fun! Whilst Amy was finishing up the touches of the colouring to the welcome home banner, Alexis had dropped her barbie doll over the wall, and therefore had to pick it up, although being told never to go out of the garden alone, she opened the gate, and picked up her barbie doll. 

Alexis felt herself gasping for air, then everything went blurry...

 Alexis found herself in the trunk of a dirty car, tied up, she couldn’t remember how, or why she was here. She heard a muffled voice of a man with a deep voice on the phone, now Alexis kight have only been six, but she wasn’t dumb. She took this amazing opportunity to open the electronic boot of the car, and run. She opened the boot and made a run for it, she found herself in a woods, deeper, deeper, further, further. She had no way out, and she could hear muffled footsteps fastly approaching behind her. 

Currently in the smiths car, “oh what a beautiful day it is!” Chris smith said to Daria smith, “oh darling, it is, isn’t it!”, Daria smith exclaimed. “Mummy, can I have a drink?” Fizz Smith asked. But before Daria smith could reply, she was approached by an out of breath, panicked looking man at her window, “H..H..HAVE YOU SEEN MY DAUGHTER!?” He yelled, in despair and desperation. Daria smith had literally two minutes before seen a worried looking girl run past the window, so quickly presumed it was his daughter, 

“Small! Brown hair! Hazel eyes!” The man exclaimed. “Yes! Yes! She went that way!” Daria said, pointing to her left. “Thank you!” The man said, running away as he said it. 

Later the smiths family got home and turned on the news, there had been a girl, raped and murdered by a man... there was a picture. That man, who claimed to be Alexises dad...
