I think of you And what we should have been 

Moments like this  I sit and remember what you  tought me.

Life is short  no time to hate, for tonight we are here

 but we don't know for the next day.

Thank you for showing me what true love is 

Not complaining but giving instead.

You gave it all when you took your last breath.

I'm sorry I wasn't there when you needed me to be the best .

I was wondering what was outside  of my home instead

 I didn't see for what you were giving me.instead I would turn away.

I'm sorry I wasn't there , I know you be upset if you saw me crying  

So instead I'll keep on smiling 

 you tought me in worst situations you keep on fighting.
