Lilly is the Crown Princess in the Kingdom of Light in Feary. Unwisely, she falls in love with her Captain of Guards, Cain, who is the only dark-elf in the kingdom. The situation in Feary is unstable in regards to magic. Centuries ago the Dark Goddess, Morrighan, betrayed the Light Goddess, Danu, and twisted Magic so that it became necessary to spill blood to do magic. One unexpected consequence is that children are few are far between. Faery is dying. Is salvation possible?
