Friday the 29th of May 2015

We were woken up at half one in the afternoon. Due to the slamming of the front door. The walls practically shuck. Both me and Lily were looking around at that point as if we were just woken from a trance and completely oblivious to our surroundings. Yes, Lily my friend. Who was sleeping right beside me, as she didn't want to stay in the discomfort of her own home the night before. Discomfort you ask? Well you see, mine and Lily's relationship was not a normal relationship that friends would usually share. It sounds silly right? My mother and Lily's father had a slightly immature but workable relationship. Lily stayed over after we arrived home from our lovely family holiday in Liverpool. Lily was having a small argument with her father on the way back. It was not out of control, it was one of them small and pointless disagreements you both tend to back yourself up on. My mother being the person she is, told Lily's father to stop the car. She sprung from the seat after swinging the door wide open and quite frankly leaving it that way. She irresponsibly ran down a long road and deep into some estates. Loosing her mobile phone. Fair enough if she knew where she was going, at least roughly. But we were hours from home. Still to this day, I don't have a clue where we were. She is selfish and needy, when something is not about her she finds the easiest opportunity to draw the attention to herself. No matter how stupid it looks. I am stubborn when it comes to those who have a thing for attention, drama and pity. All three, you'll get nothing but a straight face. All those who act like a child must be dealt with like a child I say. On the other hand Lily's father is a kind and fun character who takes his children out to nice places and works really hard. My mother likes to think the same thing of herself. How ignorant could someone possibly be? No job, no hobbies but somehow has no time. This will always be a mystery to many people. Enough of that, I don't want to spoil the fun.

In charged Amber, clumsy Amber. She is rather simple, I'd say touched. I've been friends with her since play group. She is not the most trustworthy or reliable character but she's my friend and I've not got that many left now, trust me. Leaving school seemed good at the time. It was a bad decision but alopecia didn't help. Amber flopped onto the edge of the large double bed like a whale entering the ocean. Bouncing both me and Lily almost up into the air. Splashes of pillows flung in all directions. Amber, with her loud and screechy voice complained of all her resent injuries due to her steady balance. "No surprises there." I grinned wisely. We chatted hours away slumped on the bed senseless like heavy rocks. Eventually boredom grasped us by our necks and we were thinking of mischievous plans. After three stone-cold minutes of thinking an idea sprung to Amber's mind. Oh my days. I mean, we weren't expecting nothing great. She is no genius, yet a blonde and a bad one too! "I know!" she gasped. Her long legs lifted her high, she had curiosity in her long-lashed eyes that was simply a reflection of our own. "Prank calls?" She smirked. I shuck my head, giggled then looked towards Lily. Lily was leaning with her back on the wall in the same position she had been for hours. She held a huge grin. "Alright then, but my dad is coming to pick me up at three remember."

After aggravating several contacts between our phones three o'clock knocked at the door.
