A 13 year old  girl name Emma was really happy that her mother was coming home. Her mother works on a oil rig, after her father past away they became really poor so her mum had no choice but to take the job. Emma lives by her self when her mum is away.

 I am like so excited my mum is coming home (sadly only for 2weeks) we are going to have pizza and ice cream  they are our favourite foods. I love her. I haven't seen her for 6 weeks. 

My mum doesn't know this but I get really down. I miss school a lot I am falling behind but when she gets home I seem to catch up again. The teacher notice it. Ms macphee Kept me back once. I had no choice but to tell her. She understands so now at lunch on Mondays she helps me catch me. But I don't think it helps much. You see all my mind feels like it's in another world. I hate it. I really do. But every day it's like that every day after my mum told me about what happened to my dad it just makes me shiver to think about it. I hate it I do I just wish he was still there. But I will look on the bright side of life there is not much brightness in my life. 

 I feel great today I am going to go and see my friend Bethany today.
