Time can't phase love

No matter how hard it tries. 

If a love is meant to be, 

It takes root and thrives. 

Sure...

Time can pass by, 

And a love can stand still; 

But if it's truly meant to be, 

Then two hearts it'll fill. 

One heart can feel lonely. 

It can lose a little light;

But with some help from another, 

It can shine so bright. 

There was a mountain in the way,

But the two hearts began to climb. 

If I tripped, 

You caught me. 

If you slipped,

I helped you up;

And, finally, WE made it to the top. 

Time couldn't phase us

No matter how hard it tried. 

Our love was meant to be,

So it took root and thrived.
