Prologue

October 12 1974

Friday,  12.45 am

It was a dark and stormy night. Massive lighting was enduring like a spotlight endures on a celebrity but here was no celebrity. The rain was pouring like cats and dogs. The clouds were fighting as a war has taken place. A figure of a girl walked in the silent hallway which was being devoured by the darkness and stillness. She quietly peeked through the gothic door, key hole.

On the other side of the door stood a figure of a tall man with a sharp bloody blade looking as if it was made from blood instead of metal.Next to him was a blindfolded woman tied on a chair, same goes with two girls and one boy but their hands and legs were only tied  and were forced to rest on the floor which was being swallowed by the crimison red liquid which we call blood.

The man stabbed the blade in the woman's chest with so much force that the blood drops spilled on, also the far areas in the room rather than on,y being spilled in the near areas where he stabbed her.

A couple of tears rolled down the little girl's face who was peeking.

He pulled the blade and moved towards the children.

One by one he stabbed the blade in the girls chest. Then he moved forward, next to the girls was a boy. He took of the boy's blind fold and stabbed the blade in his left eyes.

The girl screamed after seeing this horrible scene.

The man heard and pulled the blade. He moved towards the door and kicked it with a large force making it hang on its hinges. There was no one. He looked on right and then left deciding whether to go here or there.

The girl flinched in shiver making the vase move which gave the man signal that she is behind the vase. He acted as if he was walking towards the right and quietly tip toed towards the vase.

The girl sighed and peeks through the vase. She saw a man with blood covered face and an evil smirk, holding a bloody blade in front of her. She tried to run but her shirt collar was grabbed. He pulled his arm and stabbed the blade in the girl's shoulder losing the aim of the neck. He pulled back and she gave all her force to get free, luckily she was free from his grip.

She placed her hand on her shoulder and ran. The deep wound made the blood drip faster which in couple of seconds created a puddle. She slipped and her head crashed into the wall in front of the end of the twisty modern Victorian styled stairs.

The man came running.

She slowly lifted her self from the floor and started crawling towards the door. Her head fell and her eyes closed on the doormat out side the door telling that she is unconscious.

Chapter 1

November 7 1979

Wednesday11.00  pm

Massive rain was running. A black Ford Mondeo (car) stopped in front of an abandoned, dark as night building. The car door opened and a woman in about her mid twenties with long brown hair tied in a bun, wearing skin tight grey jeans with black boots and a button up shirt holding a black hand bag came out. She pulled out a dark colored umbrella from her car. The opposite side of the car door opened and a man about two years older than her with dark brown hair styled long in the middle and short on the sides wearing a dark blue shirt with sleeves rolled up till elbows, a skinny black tie and black pants came out and leather shoes. They walked towards the creepy entrance of the abandoned building.

"Nothing is wrong here, Lou.", said the woman inspecting the entrance. "It does seems like rain never stops here", said Lou sitting on his one knee and scanning the soil between his slender fingers which were protected by plastic gloves, he then audited the moonless sky where the inky clouds poured a waterfall. "I don't get it, how come there is no evidence? The killer always leave the evidence", thought the woman.

Lou pushed the door but it didn't budge. "The door is locked", he said. Then he kicked the door using his right leg. The lock broke and it opened with squeaky noise. He pushed down the switch making the circuit complete to turn on the lights. One by one immediately the tubes lights created the rays of shallow bright light. There in front of them was an abandoned hospital hall. The floor tiles were worn out. Walls' paint was corroding. The tarnished ceiling was visible. There was stains of mud and dirt along with some graffiti by rust. There was a filthy board with mucky papers pinned and some were torn. A few chair were there. Some were worn out and others were oxidized. 'Surprisingly the building was abandoned for years, but then how come there are lights?', he thought. They walked inside. The woman pulled out a pair of plastic gloves and started inspecting the dust particles on the oxidized chairs. "If I'm not mistaken, these particles have set over a long period of time, but how come that is possible, a couple of days ago I saw a lot people here; they were planning to clean this mess and some even started!", analyzed the woman.

"This place is quite unusual, even the scent", Lou stated, whiffing the air.

"What was that?", asked the woman in confusion, "I felt as if someone is here".

They exchanged glances. "That must be the killer", said Lou and pulled out a revolver. He quietly tip toed towards the room from where the voice came and kicked the stained broken glass window door with his guard on. There was no one there. Only a pigeon stuck on the dirt-stained glass window. "Interesting how there is a pigeon in the middle of night when I saw no bird or any animal around here", he thought.

The woman continued inspecting until she heard the sound of footsteps. 'Lou must be here', she thought. The footsteps' sounds faded then increased and this repeated twice or thrice. "Lou, stop doing that, can't you see I'm working here", she said with a slight annoyance in her tone. The sound still repeated. "Lou, stop it, it's distracting!", she snapped. The strange sound continued. She got up with an annoyed expression and went where the sound took her. "Lou, stop it!", she continued  giving warnings. She stopped. Her eyes were wide open. "What is a girl doing here?", she thought as she analysed a figure of a young teenage girl about fourteen maybe, with open, waist length, black hair, wearing a knee length white dress that was standing in front of her. The woman moved forward. "What are you doing here?", she asked. There was no response. "You shouldn't be here, your parents must be worried about you", she said and picked up her hand. "I'll take you home" she walked towards the door towards the descending stairs.

Lou walked out of the room. "There is nothing to inspect here", he said. He walked down the stairs and suddenly he heard a scream. "A scream? Oh, no, she must be in trouble", he said. Then he started calling her name. He turned around and saw a girl in white clothes covered in blood. Her head was down. Her eyes were covered by her bangs and all that could be seen on her face was an evil smirk. He moved back .Unexpectedly the lights started fluctuating. The girl moved as the lights flickered. The lights went off and blood-curdling screams were heard.

Chapter 2

November 10 1979

Saturday  11.50 am

A sleeping figure covered with dark colored bed sheets dreamed in a fantasy world until a loud discordant sound crushed the world into pieces, thought a girl in her early twenties as she stared a golden colored police badge which shimmed as the sunlight passing through the window and reflecting on the badge.

She placed the badge in the pocket of a light grey colored skinny jean which she was wearing and moved the sleeve of a black button up shirt to see the time shown by black chained wrist watch.

After a couple of seconds later she got up from the red sofa, she was sitting on. Her slender feet covered with white socks, protected by knee high black boots, marched towards the counter where was written 'Pick up'.

She showed the receipt to the waitress. The waitress took the receipt and within seconds handed a tray, on which a chocolate cinnamon wrapped in clear plastic and a chilled latte were neatly placed.

She softly lay (down) her meal on the table in front of the sofa she was siting previously and started eating

After completing her meal. She got up from the seat and exist the cafeteria.

A woman in her fifties, wearing white long skirt and black shirt(tucked in), was walking on the clear grey streets where the cars come at high speed, with her head down and was about to collapse before the girl came and supported her.

She looked at the girl and smiled before closing her eyes, before collapsing. "Ma'am hang on", said the girl as worries and tension about what to do? started consuming her. 'What should I do?', she thought.

An idea popped in her mind. 'I should take her to the hospital'. 'But where is my car?". She looked from right to left, looking for her car. Her eyes lit up from hope when she saw her car.

She carried the woman by placing her hand near that woman's waist and that woman's arm round her neck. Like this she took the woman all the way towards her car.

She placed the women in her car, front seat and tied a seat belt Then she sat in the car and drove towards the hospital near by.

5 minute later

The car stopped. 'International Kimberley Hospital', she said. She carried the woman in the same way to the hospital inside. The staff members placed the woman in the stretcher and took her with them for treatment.

The girl pulled out a magazine and waited out side in the waiting area until the woman regained her conscious.

10 minutes later

The doctor came and asked, "Are you Julie?". "The patient talks a lot you, she just can't stop talking about you", he completed. "I'm not Julie, I'm Stella", replied the girl. "Any way fill the patients form so that we can register the patient in our records, take it form the reception and the patient will discharge tomorrow evening", he said and vanished.

Stella went to the reception and filled the form. 'Now I must visit the lady and get know to why she smiled to me', she thought. 'Room N12', she read. She knocked and entered.

"Julie what a surprise, come inside", said the woman, her face was lit up from happiness. 'This is gong to be tough', thought Stella. "Umm Ma'am", she started. "I'm not Julie, I am Stella and I am assuming Julie is some-one  important to you", she asked.

The lit of happiness vanished from the woman's face and she was once again sad and looking down. "Yes Julie is important to me, she was my one an only daughter", she said and tears rolled dwon her face.

"When Julie was born, her father died because of a rare disease", she started. "Julie grew with out father's love". "I worked hard and raised Julie", she sobbed. "She was a perfect woman and we both had a perfect life until one day", she broke into tears . "Julie disappeared", she cried.

Stella handed her a handkerchief. The woman wiped her tears and said, "I came here from Warrington looking for a detective to solve the case and find my daughter". 'Case', thought Stella.

"Ma'am could please explain me why nobody choose to solve the case to find your daughter?", asked Stella. "They all said Julie went to The Haunted Hospital and this case is a mystery and something I don't clearly remember, some what like ghost", replied the woman. 'Ghost huh', thought Stella as her attention sank in the situation.

"Please find my daughter", begged the woman.

"Don't worry I will solve this case and find your daughter", Stella replied.

Stella left the room, sat in her car and drove to police station.

A boy about her age wearing police detective clothes knocked the office cabin door and entered. "Stella you called me?", he asked.

"Nathaniel we have a case to solve", Stella said and told him everything about the new case. Nathaniel placed his chin on his hand and listened everything carefully. "Ghost, haunted hospital", he said and thought about it. "Sounds interesting to me".

"Okay so we will start from gathering information about the case from Warrington", said Stella.
