Chapter 1

-   H a n n a h   -

I ran away from home. Why? You may be thinking, "You! Why would you do it?" or "You're not old enough!" or anything else. But it's my problem. So if you let me tell my story, I hope you will understand. I had money from the last 7 years I've been saving up. It was for College but when I had enough of home life, I decided to use it. I guess being homeless is better than living in the life I've been living in. Leaving home may be the stupidest idea ever,  but I have to get away. Right now I'm on my way to New York. You never know what will happen on the way. Hopefully something good. Something exciting. Something amazing.

-

I got a taxi. Pretty lame right. I'm not that stupid so obviously I cut my hair, changed my name etc. Goodbye Boston, hello New York.

By the time I got to New York it was 1 o' clock in the evening. I walked around town, to smell the beautiful New York food. I got pretty hungry but I had to save money. While I was walking I saw a pack of girls gathering around. I wasn't interested about anything that was going on. I can't have any distractions right now. I have to think about other stuff. Like, where I'm going to live. I need to find somewhere to work. And food to eat. I decided to get myself a pancake and sat down behind a building to eat my pancake. Then a boy sat down panting right across me. He probably didn't see me. Then I saw the pack of girls running. He was probably the boy that the girls were after. I decided that maybe he needed some help.

"Hi," I started. He looked at me and jumped up. Clearly I scared him.

"Please, whatever you do don't shout my name," he gets up and covers my mouth. Talk about an awkward moment. I try removing his hand but he has a tight group on me. Then he realizes and removes his hand from my mouth. "Sorry."

"It's okay, I still don't know who you are. It's not like you're famous or anything." He just looks at me like I was crazy. "What?"

"That's exactly it."

"Wait you're famous?" How can this guy be famous? Well he does have proof. These girls.

"Where have you been for the past several years?" I wish he didn't ask me that. I was at home living hell. I couldn't afford anything really. I was glad that I got work then, so I had some extra money. But then they found out what time I go home at. More hell then. But I can't trust him and tell him.

"I don't want to talk about it." He looks at me for a bit and then shrugs it off.

"What's your name?"

"Hannah." Why did I say that? I'm not amen't to say that. Clearly I started to panic. "I shouldn't said that. Look, I'm-"

"Do you even have a home?" There was no point in lying anymore. He clearly solved the mystery that's behind me. Stupid hot boy. Wait hot? Well he is hot, I mean he looks hot. I'm pretty sure he's not Asian, he looks Asian but he's not, right? Right. Come on Hannah. Just tell him the truth. Maybe he'll help you.

"No." I mumbled it. Maybe he wouldn't hear me and shrug it off like before.

"Then where do you live?"

"Well... the hotel probably."

"How about I help you?"

"I don't know if I trust you enough."

"I'm famous you should-- Right, you don't know that I'm famous." I looked at him. Maybe I could trust him. I finished off my pancake and got up.

"Ok, I trust you."

"You really trust me, you like met me 5 minutes ago."

"Well, you seem pretty convinced in helping me."

"What if I'm some kind of a murderer."

"Are you a murderer?"

"No."

"Well then, I trust you." I was about to head out with him but then he stopped. "You scared of the light or what?"

"No, it's just are the fans still out there?" I looked around and honestly they probably gave up on  looking for him.

"No, they gave up on you."

"Good, come on lets go." And he pulls me quickly by the arm.

-

We arrive at his hotel shortly. He like made me run most of the time. I'm definitely not the running type.

"Thank God they didn't catch us."

"Dude, you were running so fast I couldn't even catch up."

"Dramatic much?"

"Of course." Note the sarcasm?

"Come on, I'll introduce you to the rest."

"Wait there's more of us?"

"Of course there is."

"I'm not good with names."

"Then you'll make nicknames."

"Then you shall be the 'Flash'."

He takes me upstairs to his room. Their hotel room was gigantic. Then a tall blonde boy came in the room.

"Where were you Calum-- Calum! We told you, no fan dating."

"She's not a fan."

"At least I know your name now," I point out. He didn't even introduce himself to me. What a gentleman.

"Right, you don't knows us."

The blondie coughs on his cheerios.

"Wait, she really has no clue who we are?"

"Yes Luke, she doesn't. I found her like this on the street."

"Are you sure she's not a fan?"

"Yes, she's not Acacia."

"I swear, I don't know who ye guys are, by my clothes it should be obvious."

"I don't trust you but we'll see later."

"Luke..."

"Calum..."

"Cal, I don't think it's a good idea if I stay. Clearly, I'll make it on my own." Calum turns to me like I'm crazy. Does he always give that look?

"Are you crazy? Where are you going to live? Get food? Survive?"

"I don't know---"

"Exactly, you're staying."

"Oh shit, she's really homeless." I give Luke a look. I don't want to be called homeless. It doesn't sound right. "Oh, um, sorry. Didn't mean it that way."

"It's okay."

"What's your name anyway."

I answer with 'Christina' while Calum answers with 'Hannah'. Jesus.

"Is it Christina or Hannah?"

"It's Hannah but Christina."

"I'm confused." I give Calum a look. Clearly I have some explaining to do.

"I'll make this short. There's a reason I ran away from home, whether I tell you or not, it ain't pretty. I decided to change everything so they don't find me. So for you it's Hannah, for the world its Christina."

"Will you tell me what's the reason?"

"Not yet. But once I'll trust you enough."

"Hey bitches we're back, Calum, who's your girl?"

I turned around to see a boy with black dyed hair, and one with curly hair. And they made kissy faces at Calum. I could feel my cheeks burning hot. So were Calums. These boys are going to be a total embarrassment to me, right? Right?

What did I do to deserve this?
