Hayden and Josie are on a date at a retro restaurant

Slight Music In Background.

Hayden: So..

Josie: Just admit, I’m good at choosing restaurants like this.

As Hayden is about to respond. It freezes on Hayden’s Face with Hayden’s name on screen

Hayden (Narrator): Ok... Let me set the scene for you. The person your looking at is me. Hayden! And the girl sitting across from me?

Changes frame to Josie’s Face.

Hayden (Narrator): That’s my girlfriend Josie. We’ve been together for 9 months. *Pause*

Shows videos of couple doing things together like bowling, going to different restaurant and so on. Then Changes back to retro restaurant.

Hayden (Narrator): Josie was having a good time and so was I. But she didn’t know that the fun was about to end. As the date carries on...

Josie: Then she says. Keep your cool. We don’t want Mr Reynolds to look at us in our swimmers. 

(Josie’s talking fades out and you can hear her just loud enough in the less noise)

We have to go past him though to get to the other side where the rest of my friends were waiting. So I call one of them and tell them to throw a rock at Me Reynolds head. So Samantha got a rock and threw it at his head which made him turn around facing away from us. So we ran as fast as we could with our hats over our face hoping he wouldn’t turn around.

While her speaking is quieter, Hayden’s thoughts.

Hayden (Narrator): I don’t know what to say to her because I don’t want to break her heart.

You can tell Hayden is very zoned out. 

Josie: Hayden? HAYDEN! 

She keeps saying Hayden’s name

Hayden (Narrator): And what if she asks why. I don’t know if it is true or not.

As Josie keeps saying Hayden’s name, Hayden’s words slip.

Hayden: I wanna break up.

Akward Silence for about 10 seconds.

Josie: Are you joking with me? Cause if you are, it’s working?

Hayden: I wouldn’t joke about this.

Hayden has a less stressed face on than he did before and Josie has a confused face.

Josie: Is this like a dare or something Carlo told you to do.

Hayden: No no no. Carlo doesn’t even know about this decision. 

Josie changes her position in her chair.

Josie: Ok. Why are you breaking up with me then.

Hayden: It’s just I don’t feel a connection between you and me anymore.

Josie: I don’t understand.

Hayden: I just don’t feel like I like you as a girlfriend.

Josie: Are you actually serious

Hayden: Yes. But before you get really upset and start marching out. We can still be friends and still go to lunch and classes like that but not like too often. Only like what friends do.

Josie: OMG. I can’t believe you are actually doing this to me. After everything we’ve been through as a couple and now you break up with me.

Hayden: But we can still be friends. 

Josie: No Hayden. I am not going to be friends with my ex-boyfriend. Just don’t bother talking to me again.

Josie screams out loud and the. Walks out in tears
