Macy ran upstairs to look through her window to see if she could find a better view of the front yard. Knowone was in the front yard so she figured they left or were trying to find a way in.  She started looking at the news headlines to find out if there was any serial killers missing from prisons but there was none.Macy called the police and gave them her location but halfway through the call someone cut the power. A few minutes later, there was a loud sound of glass breaking  in the kitchen. The man started coming up the stairs toward the closet. Macy grabbed a high heeled shoe as defense in case he found her. He was at her room door. Macy heard a car pull up into the driveway. The man ran back down the stairs. He slipped out the back door so knowone seen him.When Macy finally came out of the closet she told her parents what happened and they all searched for the man. Macys dad was holding a rifle.
