There once was two children called Margret and Mildred Holmes. They lived in a busy London area. There mother and father told them one morning that Adolf Hiter had declared war on Poland. After that Hiter started war on the entire word and only had Germany, Japan and Italy. Hitler declared war on Poland after his German defeat in World War One. He hated Jews and wanted to kill them all. He hated Jews because the Jews were the ones who defected his country in the first war. So Margret and Mildred went to pack some things from there bedroom. They had to evacuate quickly to Devon were they would be safer. They did not want to go but now Nazis ( Adolf Hitler’s army’s name ) had started bombing England they had no choice they were forced to evacuate immediately.
