The year is 2021, everyone went… insane for an unknown reason. Bombings, gunshots, suicide… it’s been happening every second. It happened out of nowhere. The buildings collapsed, everything is gone. The world has burned down… Luckily, there was a safe haven for the people who didn’t go insane yet. It had trees, bushes, grass, flowers, food, water, oxygen. Seven months after it started, everyone was gone. There was complete silence.

The remaining 50 survivors transplanted the plants they had outside, yes… they had good soil with them too. They came up with this plan when it happened. They built new shelters, grew food, and they also had livestock. They started reproducing and the new world began.

100 people now. People are starting to strive. They thought it was over. Until one of the kid’s went insane and killed their people, spreading the infection.

Guard: “The population has been decreasing someone is insa-”

The guard died, the leader got badly injured. Luckily they got the kid before he killed their leader. They killed him. The leader fears that it might spread again, and kill all of humanity for good. They tried their best to find a cure they’ve been trying to make it for a year now, there are only 33 people left. The leader found something, it looked like some sort of crystal, but it was strange. It didn’t look like anything known. The leader had scientist’s study it. The crystal was an unknown mineral.

Scientist: “It has something in it that might help!”

Leader: “What is it?”

S: “It has a substance called Melatonin and Valerian, it helps with insomnia, so we are closer to finding a cure.”

Afterwards, they went on to find more of the chemical, and other substances that could help.

Two months later, the creation of the cure started, there are 31 survivors in the world. More people are dying than reproducing. After another another 8 months the cure is almost finished, but there are a few substances missing, that is almost impossible to find in the new world, and there are only 17 people left. One month has passed and they finally found a cure, with only 11 people left in the world. They give the cure, and the illness was eradicated.
