People often ask me if I'm ok

I alwase reply with just for today

People don't understand when I say

I'm hurt but I struggle on

To run this eternal race which can never be one 

Or should I give up and say I'm done?

If I'm done then how come I have been able to run so far

They tell me don't give up you can make it

And if you don't you can alwase fake it

As the sun goes down

And I get ready for bed

I finally get to let weary head rest

Thoughts are rushing through my mind like a highway

I have to put them all to rest

Somebody else's happiness I had to borrow 

Full well knowing it will all begin again tommorow.
