Prologue

Her wrinkled grey hands shook as she screamed, her yellowed skin drawn and her bloodshot eyes rolling into the back of her head.

Her knees buckled and a yellow smoke swirled around her.

“They come! They come!” She shrieked and cackled. The evil anger radiated from her body and the bars of her cell rattled. The straw on the ground the blown away from her by the force of her power. The stone walls started crumbling just as two men clad in iron armor busted in through the wooden door, sending it flying across the room, hitting the bars and making the fall to the ground, missing the witch by a millimeter.

She cackled again, pointing a hand at the men. “She will change him!”

The yellow smoke swirled around her furiously then it dissipated and the witch was nowhere to be seen.

“What was that hag talking about?”One of the men whispered in a gruff voice.

“I don’t know... maybe we should tell Alpha?” The other man answered.

“That’s practically giving him our heads! No, lets let the next round of guards sacrifice themselves.” Gruff man replies and the second man chuckled before they walks out of the room.
