Fern is a normal guy. At least by his standards. He thinks he's pretty average. But just recently, he was tasked with helping his fellow 8th graders with their lives. As the 8th grade advisor. 

He was anonymous. No one knew who he was. Not even the school. He helped a certain girl out of a very sticky situation which caught the eye of the school. They were impressed by how he handled the girl's situation. How did he handle her situation? You'll just have to find out next chapter.

 Nell Askie. You could say she's popular. Often times you see her talking with her friends, going to Starbucks, and smiling. Though one day, something horrible happened to her. She needed help, but she felt insecure talking about it in person with any of her friends. So she decided to go to someone online. 

Someone by the name of Deepy (Fern) was anonymous and gained quite a lot of attention by posting random quotes on Instagram. Somehow Nell trusted "Deepy" and went online to ask them to help. Nell told Deepy everything.

NellAmazing: Hello, Deepy right?

Deepy: Yes. What can I do for you today?

NellAmazing: I was hoping you can help me. I'm at a loss for what to do.

Deepy: Okay, what seems to be the problem?

NellAmazing: I'm..... being sexually harassed at school...

Deepy: Wait... what?

NellAmazing: Yeah... every time I'm alone, a group of guys would try to slap my butt. It's awkward.

Deepy: Have you told them to stop?

NellAmazing: Of course! But they won't!!!

Deepy: I'm guessing you've already told the authorities.

NellAmazing: Well... No...

Deepy: :/

NellAmazing: I'm too scared...

Deepy: Wait for a sec...

Fern has a power. He can go into people's minds and help greatly influence their actions. He can also see what the person is seeing, hearing, smelling, etc.  He calls it Mind invasion. He can see the person but they can't see him. To do mind invasion, you must know the first and last name of the person you're trying to go into. In this case, Nell Askie.

After 5 minutes...

Hey Nell can you hear me?

Who's there?

It's me Deepy... I'm in your mind. Now I'm going to help you in this ok. Just follow my instructions.

O...o...k... 

Good. I can see you're still in school. So why don't you head to the principal's office?

What?! No! I can't. I'll be called a snitch by everyone else.

Do you want to solve this or not?

I do but it'll ruin my reputation...

Reputation?! As a person who doesn't stand up for herself?!

No! As a celebrity in this school.

Okay then let's try this. If you don't tell the principal, you will be sad because someone keeps harassing you. You might also damage your "reputation" and become what a person might call a "slut". If you do tell the principal, you might be called a snitch. But you will feel happier and everyone will see that you are someone who can actually stand up for yourself. That you are a brave woman. Now what's your choice?

Okay! I've made up my mind. I'll do it. I'll tell the principal everything. Hopefully I won't be called a liar... or a snitch... or a bad friend who doesn't care if others get in trouble.... AAGGHHHH I CANT DO IT!!!

*SLAP* 

What... what was that...? 

Yeah I can slap people when I'm in their minds so listen to yourself. Listen to what you're saying. You have every right in the world to actually be angry at your agressors. You're saying as if you're just a puppet for them. I don't like people like you. You always stay quiet. It's annoying.

You... you...!!! I'll show you!

*smirk* 

After a whole 30 minutes of explaining, the principal decides to punish the boys for everything that they've done to Nell. They were suspended. For 2 weeks. After a few days, Nell was happier. She smiled a whole lot more. And what Fern does know is that she's never quiet anymore...

NellAmazing: Hey Deepy...

NellAmazing: Thanks.

NellAmazing: My life is so much better now.

NellAmazing: Since I see results, I will let your rude remarks pass.

NellAmazing: And you know what I'll do if you ever treat me that way again.

Deepy: Of course. I'd be disappointed if you didn't. Glad I could help.
