Chapter 1

Charlene was a woman who touched many lives, she often entrusted her life to people who she felt would be good to her.  Charlene was dating Chris and all of her friends knew them better as the two C’s; they were a wonderful couple and everyone just knew that they were right for one another.  Chris was a college student who worked two part-time jobs to pay his debt, he was a smooth talker, a bit of a nerd, but his looks were rated as a seven.  No matter what others thought of him he always made time to be with Charlene and showed her love.  Charlene knew that Chris cared for her and she wanted to be with him all the time, when Chris spoiled her, Charlene would reminisce on the day that she decided to take things further with him.

Charlene was 26 years old with great skin, medium length hair and was an out-going person who did a lot of things without thinking it through.  Most people thought of Charlene as a choirgirl with a zest for life but Charlene lived her life in a zone that most people would consider risky; she often would do the unimaginable.  Charlene is a materialistic person and desired everything to be the center of attention and with everything she hoped that it would get people to notice her; while on the other hand Chris was more sensual, he had gratification for moral and intellectual things.  Chris was the real deal and Charlene knew it, he was like a conditioning sheen spray, the man was fortified with natural herbs that only a real man could define.  Chris would put it on Charlene and she would get weak all over when he kissed her behind the nape of her neck.  He was smooth and Chris would put a vibrant shine and glow on her that would last for hours; he was not a flaky person and Chris knew how to make her breakdown.

It was time for the summer classes to begin and Chris was planning on attending as a fulltime student to hopefully get ahead of the graduation schedule.  He was nowhere near ready to graduate but he kept a positive mindset in order to achieve the things he desired.  Charlene was going to skip out on attending classes during the summer; she decided that she needed some time to herself without all the professors and books.  Chris attempted to talk Charlene out of missing a semester, he figured that if they both kept at it, they could walk the stage and move forward with their lives together.  Charlene figured that she had time to work out her schedule throughout the year and she did not need to rush; she took advantage of things instead of looking at the opportunity to do what was best.

They both had two and a half years already invested into college during the winter classes, Charlene and Chris purchased laptops to spend more time at home or out with one another instead of at the college library.  With her man working as hard as he did and attending classes during the summer, Charlene did not get as much attention or time with Chris as she had hoped.  After weeks of being left alone and no one to hang out with, Charlene would go up to Chris job and hang out when the manager was not around.  Charlene got so good at being sneaky that she would time Chris breaks so that they would sneak in the back room to make out.

As the weeks went on, Charlene was thinking of a way to get Chris to let her move in with him, the only problem was Chris had a roommate and there was not enough room for a third body.  You would think that by Chris being in college he would live in the dorms; hardly, he was a very resourceful young man and he planned on making a life for himself with or without help from others.  Chris had a roommate named Shaneil and they had been roomies for almost three years.  When Shaneil moved in, it helped Chris make his choice to attend college and get his education; since he had another person to share responsibilities of the home with he was able to save more.  Shaneil and Charlene both entered Chris life almost simultaneously; meeting Charlene right after he started college,  his trusted roommate Shaneil became his friend who he could count on.

Charlene really just wanted Shaneil out of the way, she felt that Shaneil was keeping Chris from making a fulltime commitment to her; little did she know, Shaneil was into the comfort of a female verses a male.  Charlene would tell Chris that she wanted more of him than just a memory once he left her side and Chris loved her devotion, but he disliked her insecurities.  Even though Chris would strenuously run to Charlene side whenever she was in need; it was his way of showing her that he would do anything for her.
