I swing open the door, mascara running down my cheeks with every cold salty tear that escapes my eyes, i throw myself recklessly toward the bench in front of the mirror, and sob at the distorted makeup addict i believe i had become. This isnt me , i think as the tears keep coming strong, i try to wipe away my tears but it only further ruins the make up smudging the layers of eye shadow and bb cream into one blurr. The harsh truth

 ...Its whats on the inside that counts, at least that was what i was told countless a time by my mother. Apparently i concentrate about what i look like to much, spending too long glancing in the mirror. But in todays society its hard to go by, not looking a some what attractive standerd.


To be honest i wish things were the way my mum thinks they are.

But it isnt. Which is why im going to tell you my endless eternal struggel on the harsh truth of an average life of a teen, and how to survive reality without becoming to emotionly deppresed in the prosess.
