Children in the Outskirts
Little children…
Don’t waste no time.
They’re on their way.
Three times a mile.
Little children…
Walk far, walk slow.
You will get there
On the place you know.
Little children…
Waves hello, hi.
Up and down the mountains
Singing melodies to the sky.
Little children…
Alas! They have arrived.
This little Nipa hut,
Will serve as their learning hive.
Little Soul Helpless
Emotions have led him in the depths.
He doesn’t have any choice.
Even air charges him debt.
Poor little soul, poor little voice.
Sunrays beam through his eyes:
Bewilderment, noise, and wander.
Raw evidences cringes his youth.
Poor little soul seeking for cover.
He landed on a shelter,
Where he saw all the others.
Lucky them held by arms of a mother.
Closing his eyes, still feeling his lovers.
The night was seemed peaceful.
Yet some elements remain vengeful.
Again, it was happening!
That helpless, mournful cries… wailing.
Little soul seen so much in life.
Guns, aches, fire – strife.
No one felt so much at his age.
All wars don’t do good; no one should wage.
