Loopholes does the MUBA
Hi all, we're excited that Susan McCreery's microfiction collection, Loopholes, has been shortlisted for the 2017 Most Underrated Book Awards. The winner will be announced at The Wheeler Centre in Melbourne on November 19 so we thought we'd have a chat with Susan here on Tablo about the award, her book and the mystery art of microfiction. Leave a question or comment for Susan McCreery or join her for a live Q&A session here on Thursday November 9 from 8pm AEST.
One lost and found password later, I'm ready and excited to get into this.
Hi Melbourne folks, if you are planning to go along to the Wheeler Centre for The Next Big Thing: The Most Underrated Book Award, make sure you reserve a spot. It is on on Friday 17 Nov from 6.15pm https://www.trybooking.com/book/event?embed&eid=323367
Hi Bron and Marion and Susan, I'm also looking forward to this! :)
Hello peeps, anyone else here yet? If not, no probs, I'll just talk among my selves ... Here goes ...
I've been looking at Loopholes in between deadlines today. And it struck me that each time I dip into it a different story leaps up as my new favourite and/or whacks me freshly between the eyes with devastating sadness. Today's were 'Something you're not' and 'Burden'. So I guess I just want to say, 'Thanks Susan, for writing and thanks Bron and Spineless for publishing'. This is a book that will keep on giving, which makes it a very fine achievement I think ...
