EMILY - BOOK ONE OF THE GENESIS STONES

Book One of

THE GENESIS STONES

“Why pick on me?” cried Emily Sutton, a typical 12 year-old girl.

She hadn’t counted on finding an alien artifact while bushwalking with her parents.

Or had the artifact found her?

I agree. Well done! The story is well thought out, exciting, and fun. This would be a great idea for a TV series. If I only had the power to make it so.

This book is amazing! It gripped me and didn't let go. The Whole fictional idea(but totally awesome) of a supercomputer diamond stone, well actually the whole book is just such an original idea!
I am very awestruck with your book and I simply can't wait for book two!

Dedication & Synopsis

For Matilda, who asked me to write a chapter book.

SYNOPSIS

Emily Sutton is just like any other tween-age girl, trapped in the purgatory between childhood and adolescence. Then she discovers a large crystal in a stream ... or it discovers her ... and the adventures begin. It seems this is one of the millions of stones sent by a long gone race at the centre of the galaxy to spread knowledge. Like a humungous computer chip, it also contains remarkable powers which it can pass onto Emily. So, why has Emily been stuck with a secret friend that is like the most powerful computer in the world and not some big, secret government organization? Maybe the question is, how long will it be before some big, secret government organization finds Emily and her Genesis Stone?
