Emporer Arlic and Empress Heidi sat in the throne room on their thrones, when suddenly a messenger came through the doors saying,

“ My Emporer and Empress! I have bad news… there has been a threat that someone has snuck into the palace and will take over, what do you want me to do?” The Emporer said,

“ Tell the General this and have all the guards do two patrols around the castle to make sure no unwanted guest is here.” With that, the messenger bowed before turning and leaving. Then once the messenger was gone, Emporer Arlic turned to his Empress, Heidi, and said,

“ I suggest that we need some sort of extra protection, this isn't only a threat to us it's a threat to our people, if we give up our throne we don't even know what the person who wants the throne will do to our people.” Empress Heidi thought for a moment before saying,

“ What about the ninja's, they have gone on multiple adventures, their most recent one was to the desert to help some kids get their friend back.” Emporer Arlic said,

“ Then I say we inform them immediately.” With that Emporer, Arlic went to write a letter to the ninja's asking for their assistance of protection for the Emporer and his family. Once the letter was out Emporer Arlic met up with Empress Heidi saying,

“ The letter is out, I just hope that the threat doesn't become the real thing before the ninja's get here.” Empress Heidi smiled calmly and said,

“ Have faith in the ninja's, they have stopped a witch more than once, defeated dragon nappers, defeated desert pirates, and each of them sacrificed themselves to protect our people. If they didn't do all the things that they did, where do you think we would be now?… In ruins, so have faith, if I trust the ninja's then you should too." Emporer Arlic was proud of his Empress and said,

“ I do.” With that the two rulers sat back on their thrones in wait for the arrival of who they hope wouldn't fail them.

Endral sat in the library with stacks of books around her and papers everywhere. Her long dark brown hair was up in a messy bun, and she was staring at a book. Just then the librarian came up behind her saying,

“ Can I help you with anything?” Endral looked up and said,

“ Unless you can give me an answer on the back story of Helios the Greek sun god, then I don't think you can.” Endral then plopped her head, face-first into the pages of the book she had open. The librarian took one of the books from the pile next to Endral and read the title out loud saying,

“ Greek's gifts to the gods and goddesses, now Endral, I think I know what book you need, but this certainly isn't it. Come and follow me." With that Endral lifted her head up and stood up, walking after the librarian. As the librarian walked around her desk and started to unlock the door with a key she said to Endral,

 “ Normally I don't show kids this place but I've watched you read a lot of books and you never really stop until you get the right answer. I admire that about you, now I think it's time I show you this sort of restricted part of the library.” Endral blinked and said,

“ Theirs a restricted section of the library!” Endral then covered her mouth knowing she wasn't supposed to say that out loud, but it was too early in the morning that anyone would be at the library so no one was watching or listening. Finally, the door opened and the librarian stepped aside for Endral to go in. The restricted section had books everywhere just like the main part of the library, Endral went straight to the ancient history section of the restricted area and for once she found a book that said, Greek gods and their past. The librarian peeked around the corner and said,

“ Did you find what you were looking for?” Endral smiled and said,

“ Yes! Thank you so much!” With that Endral sat down at one of the small desks at the back of the room and started reading the book.

The next thing she knew she heard her phone start to vibrate in her pocket, as she pulled it out she saw that Jordan was calling her. Endral opened the call and put her phone up to her ear saying,

“ Hello?” Jordan's voice came from the phone saying,

“ Hey! I've been trying to get a hold of you but you weren't answering! We need you at my apartment asap!” Endral replied,

“ Alright, I'll be there in six minutes.” With that, she dog eared the top of the page she left off on before closing the book. She went out of the restricted section with the book in her hand saying,

“ I think I'd like to take this book home if that's okay.” The librarian nodded.

Once Endral was out of the library with her book she started running for Jordan's apartment. Endral finally arrived breathing hard as she said,

“ I'm here… what's the problem?” Conner and Mazie came over and helped Endral over to the couch as Jordan who was holding out a letter said,

“ The Emporer and Empress of the Palace of Secrets are experiencing a threat and they want us to give them further protection from the threat.” Endral gasped as her eyes went wide with excitement and she stood up saying,

“ Really! Oh my goodness! Why us! Oh, this is going to be so exciting!” Then she started jumping up and down squealing. As she did she heard Sky say casually,

“ Told you she'd freak out about it.” Then once Endral was calmer she said,

“ Okay, when does it say we should go?” Jordan reread the letter before looking up again and saying,

“ They want us to leave as soon as possible.” With that Endral said,

“ Well, then I suggest we get going!” She touched her mood changing gem on her bracelet and her green and black ninja suit appeared on her. Her friends all followed her example and Eva said,

“ Alright, Endral leads the way, we will follow you on this one, especially since you probably know a lot about the Palace of Secrets as well as the family history.” Endral smiled from under her hood and said,

“ Do I! I know their whole background story, now let's go.” Then she went out of the apartment. 

Endral jumped from one building roof to the next till finally, she spotted a large red building with fancy black and gold roofs. Once all her friends caught up Endral pointed to the palace saying,

“ There! That's the Palace of Secrets! Come on let's go already!” With that, she jumped and started heading for the Palace of Secrets. Once Endral arrived she did a flip over the wall landing in the middle of the open road which led up to the main doors which where guarded by weaponized guards who pointed their spears at her as well as her friends who followed her lead. Endral then heard Mazie say,

“ Maybe we should have asked to come in because it looks like these guys are really protective.” Endral looked from Mazie back at the guards saying,

“ Hey! We are the ninja's I'm pretty sure we were called here to protect the Emporer and Empress from a certain threat.” The guards looked at one another till one of them said,

“ Prove it that your the ninja's.” 

“ Oh you want proof.. I'll give you proof!” Exclaimed Sky who stepped forward and using the wind she made a small tornado that lifted one of the guards up off the ground then made it disappear making the guard fall down to the ground. Suddenly Endral heard a voice behind the guards that said,

“ Step down general, they are the real ninja's.” The guards and general stepped aside and went back to their posts as a man with a short gray beard and gray hair walked up to them wearing a bright blue robe with gold designs that glimmered in the sun. The man came up to Endral and said,

“ Hello, ninja's, I am Emporer Arlic, and I see that you got our message quite quickly. Thank you so much for coming, please follow me inside.” With that Endral followed after the Emporer. When they entered the Palace Endral saw large red pillars holding up the red roof above with large gold chandeliers dangling above. On the walls, floral green red, and gold pictures decorated the beautiful palace. Endral looked in awe and said,

“ Emporer Arlic. Your palace is beautiful!” Emporer Arlic smiled and said,

“ Thank you, green ninja. Oh by the way, when you meet the rest of my family, if we are going to trust you we need to know who are our saviors under those hoods, so if you do not mind, I would like it if you could take off your hoods when you meet my family.” Endral looked back at Eva who stepped forwards saying,

“ On one condition.” Emporer Arlic nodded as for her to continue, so she did, saying,

“ You must not tell anyone who we really are, it could put our families and other people that we know in danger.” Emporer Arlic nodded as he said,

“ Of course, and I will make sure that my family keeps the secret too, plus we are used to hiding secrets from the outside world.. this is the Palace of Secrets after all.” Eva nodded and said,

“ Continue.” With that Emporer Arlic led them down the large open hallway, and pushed open two large red doors with gold designs and door knockers. Endral gasped at the sight of the large room with it's red and gold floral designed floors with a green carpet coming from the doors up to the throne area which four green cushioned gold chairs sat on a sort of platform with green-carpeted stairs leading down. Endral and her friends then lined up together as Emporer Arlic said,

“ Now if you could excuse me for a moment, I need to go fetch my family.” With that he turned left and went through two large opened doors just like the ones Endral and her friends walked through to get to the throne room. 

It only took a few moments before Emporer Arlic came back with Empress Heidi, and their two sons following behind her. Once they took their seats in their thrones Emporer Arlic said,

“ Ninja's I would like to introduce you to Empress Heidi, my oldest son Justin, and my youngest son Rhun.” Endral saw Justin wearing a green royal outfit which looked nice with is golden brown bangs of hair, as for Rhun, he wore a red royal outfit and had short dark brown hair. Eva who stood on the far left side flipped her hood over her head revealing her face saying,

“ My name is Eva and these are my friends, Mazie, Conner, Endral Sky and Jordan.” As Eva said each of their names they pulled their hoods off their heads. It wasn't until Justin said,

“ Umm… excuse me but I heard you say five other names, theirs only four of your friends, where is the fifth friend?” Endral sighed and said,

“ That would be Jordan, she got struck by lightning during her adventure on her home island where she had to stop her sister who felt like she was invisible, so she stole the Silverstrike eggs with an army of bandit people, and somehow she was able to survive the lightning strike which I still need to figure out how, but now she can turn invisible.” Endral heard Jordan's voice on the other side of Sky who had elbowed her saying,

“ Ouch." Before turning visible again and pulling her hood off her face. That's when Empress Heidi stood up saying,

“ It's nice to actually see your faces for once. You have saved our home and our citizens multiple times. Eva, the purple ninja of mist, the leader, full of ideas and able to be responsible. Mazie, the yellow sun ninja full of light, joy and kindness. Conner, you may be the black night ninja, but while you are best in the shadows you stand up and protect your friends whatever the cost, Endral, the green nature ninja, able to bring life back and protect all things living. Sky, the red air ninja, fierce as wind, and has an attitude that shows your not afraid, and last but not least, Jordan, the Silver stealth ninja, prankster I hear you are, but when it comes to the job your ready to start spying. I have always looked up to how well you do your job, and hope that you will do this job just as good as you do the other tasks that have been thrown at you." Eva stepped forward and with her hand over her heart she bent her head down saying,

“ Thank you for allowing us to stay in your palace, but while we are here we will make sure that you stay safe.” Both Conner and Mazie nodded while Endral said,

“ We will make sure the threat becomes trapped like a weed so we can finally kill it.” Sky said,

“ You can totally count on us to stop those bad guys, we have met more bad guys in our lives than you can say all of our elements.” The oldest prince laughed and asked,

“ Should we test that theory?” Endral say Sky blink a couple times in shock before turning to Endral saying,

“ I like him, he's got nerve.” Endral looked back at Justin who smiled and gave a respectful look at Endral… but to Endral it felt, a little weirder. So Endral quickly looked away just as Empress Heidi said,

“ I will have Justin take you to where you will be sleeping, I take it you will be doing shifts?” Eva replied,

“ Of course your majesty. We will always have eyes around the castle and we hear your guards are doing double the patrols, so if we have enough senses geared up we should be able to catch the person behind the threat.” Empress Heidi said,

“ I am glad to hear that." With that Empress Heidi gave Justin permission to lead the ninja's to the bedrooms.
