A hooded figure walked into the still open bakery. The figure walked up to the desk where a woman with her golden brown hair was up in a messy bun, washing the counters. She looked up and asked in a sweet voice,

" Hello, how may I help you?" The figure moved his arm out from under his black cloak. The woman looked at the figures arm and realized that it was made of metle. The woman then watched as the arm pulled down the hood to remove a face that she knew very well. The mans hair was brown and suprisingly he had one eye was glowing a green, yellow color. The woman then said,

" Oh... Arun, it's good to see you, but uh, what happened to your eye?" Arun smiled and then said,

" Don't worry, my love... I'm sure you won't be put in any danger." Then he brought his good hand to his mouth and whistled. Suddenly a group of black dressed people came barging into the bakery and they surrounded the woman. Then on Arun's command two of the men grabbed the woman and started dragging her out of the bakery as she said,

" Hey! Get your hands off me!" Arun smiled a nasty smile till suddenly his bright glowing eye started to flicker till it went out. He shook his head saying,

" Whats going on? where am I?" He looked around till suddenly he heard a deep scratchy voice come from the other black dressed men in the room,

" Grab your leader, he went off line again, and bring them both to our master." Suddenly the black dressed men that were left started to close in around Arun till finally, they grabbed his arms and started to drag him away, to their master. 

Mazie looked out the window of her math class, looking at the bright blue sky. She then heard someone say,

" Mazie... are you with us?" Mazie snapped out of the transe and looked at the front of the classroom to see her teacher looking at her asking again,

" Mazie... are you okay?" Mazie nodded and said,

" Yah, I'm fine." Her teacher then added,

" Can you try to stay focused with us, instead of dreaming, thank you." Mazie sighed and then thought, What has gottan into me latly? She then pushed the thought out of her head and focused on the problem that her teacher was showing on the board. 

When the bell rang she met up with her friends in the hall. Mazie looked at them asking,

" What? Why is everyone looking at me?"Endral said,

" Mazie, whats wrong... your clearly not telling us something." Mazie sighed, looking down at the ground, then heard Sky say,

" You never ever get called for not focusing in class... let alone, Math class." Mazie sighed again and said,

" I know, it's just... I've been thinking, my dad, I got a letter from him saying, that him and my mom are going on a trip somewhere, but usually we all go on a trip together... I just can't help but think that somethings wrong." Jordan then popped out from behind Eva saying,

" Well, don't your parents live here." Mazie said,

" No, just a couple years ago they moved into the outskirts of the island. Near like the desert terrain, they now own a junk yard but to keep the buisness going my mom owns a bakery here." As they walked down the hall to their next class, Mazie heard Eva say,

" Well, after school we can go over and check to see if something happened." Mazie smiled thinking, I'm glad I have my friends at my side. As they turned the corner they ran into the cheerleaders again and one of them said,

" Hey, it's Eva-ill and her Eva-ill henchmen." Suddenly Mazie stepped up infront of them and said,

" Hey! Enough with that... Eva is not Evil, but you might be called Evil, if I do say so myself." One of the cheerleaders said,

" Here that girls, sunny finally found the courage to stand up to us... but she's so going to regret that." Mazie still had her eyes narrowed at the cheerleader who  stood infront of the one with the brown wavy hair saying,

" You are so going to regret saying anything to us, Sunny... I might even have my boy friend come and beat you up." Mazie said sternly,

" I want to see you try, but I'm not letting you bully my friends any longer." With that Mazie pushed the cheerleaders out of the way and walked down the hall. As the group continued walking Sky came up behind Mazie and said,

" Wow girl, I've never seen you so... unfrightened, and so stern before." Mazie looked at Sky with an apologetic smile and said,

" Did I do something wrong?" Sky shook her head and said,

" No, girl... you were blowing them out of the sky... and I loved it." Eva then said,

" Mazie... that was so brave of you... thanks." Mazie smiled and said,

" Honestly guys, I really have no idea why I did that for." Jordan then came up out of no where saying,

" I gave them a final blow." Mazie looked at Jordan and said,

" Okay, Jordan... lets not rub it in." Then Mazie thought, I really need to figure out whats wrong with me.

Later that afternoon as Mazie was walking down the sidwalk she heard someone in an alleyway between two buildings give a whining screem saying,

" Hey! My bag! give that back!" Mazie looked and saw a man wearing a dark hoody start running out of the alleyway. Mazie smiled and hid on the other side of the wall then as she heard the footsteps of the man come closer she stuck her foot out and the man tripped over it practically throwing the bag at Mazie who caught the bag in the air. Mazie smiled and said in a soft voice,

" Jordan would be proud." With that she looked and saw the woman come out of the alleyway. Mazie handed the woman back her bag as the woman said,

" Thank you." Mazie then asked,

" Are you okay, what were you doing in there?" The woman said,

" I turned down the alleyway thinking this one was the right one that I turn on to get to my house faster but it ended up being the wrong one. I turned to go back when that man cornered me and took my bag, I tried to pull it from his hands but he was too strong." Mazie then said,

" Well, I'm glad your okay, maybe next time travel in groups or check the alleyway before you go in." The woman smiled and said,

" Thank you, that is very wise advice." Then the woman stepped past her and continued her way down the sidewalk. Mazie smiled then turned to the man who had fallen onto the sidewalk and rolled him over and emediatly looked taken aback as she saw his glitching yellow eye. Mazie then pulled down his hoody to see that it was just a sort of eye face mask that made his eye glow a greenish yellow color. Mazie then pulled out her phone and called 9-1-1 to report the criminal. She didn't have to wait long since the station was just a block away. Once the criminal was in the car with the police Mazie continued her way to the bakery. Once she arrived she opened the door and walked in saying,

" Hey, it's just me mom." Mazie knew her parents weren't home but they would be looking through the cameras to see if anyone had broken in. Mazie walked to the back of the counter and dropped her bag on the ground then pushed it under the table. Mazie then sighed and took out her phone from her pocket. She went to her text messages. She scrolled to Conner's number and was about to press it when she stopped and hovered over it thinking, He's probably buisy with something, and Sky's probably working on her nunchuk moves. Mazie scrolled down to the next few numbers and  hovered over Endrals number thinking, She's obviously studying, and so is Eva, but Jordan... alright lets try her. With that she pressed Jordans contact and started texting her saying,

Hey, Jordan, you busy? Mazie didn't have to wait to long. It only took the time for Mazie to grab the snack she packed out of her bag before looking at her phone just in time to see Jordan had responded in saying,

Yah, I'm working on a project for history, sorry I can't come over now... maybe later. Mazie sighed and said, 

" Well, I guess I'm alone tonight" Then she waited for any costumers to come in.

Mazie had just finished a math problem as a costumer came in. Mazie looked up and noticed that there were two people who were both wearing black cloaks. Mazie then said,

" How may I help you?" One of the two figures talked in a voice that Mazie knew well, by saying,

" Hello, my darling... will you please come with us for a second." Mazie looked at the figure saying,

" Mom? What are you doing here, I thought you were gone on a trip... and why are you wearing a black cloak?" Then her mom said,

" Don't question our looks deary, but I do have something that I want you to do... Come with us so you can join in wearing this cloak, the cloak of power." Mazie eyed her mom weirdly and asked,

" Mom? Are you sure your okay?" Mazie moved from around the counter and came up to her mom and pulled down her hood. Suddenly Mazie saw the same glowing greenish yellow eye color that was on the man she saw earlier today. Mazie stepped back and said,

" Mom? Whats wrong with you?" Her mom said,

" Come with us darling, and you could be powerful!" Mazie continued to back up with her mom and the second cloaked person coming closer. She was finally backed up to the wall when she heard coming from her mom,

" Bring the girl, she could be of use to us." Suddenly Mazie's mom snapped her fingers and Mazie saw more black cloaked people come barging into the room. Mazie gasped as she heard her mom say,

" Well, I guess either way... you'll have to come with us." Mazie then narrowed her eyes and stood up straight pushing her mom away from her saying,

" This is one trip I don't want to come with you." With that she jumped over her mom kicking her into the wall with her foot.  Then she looked forwards and saw the other cloaked figures coming at her from all directions so she jumped, twisting her body so she spun around in the air like a barrel. Mazie landed on the top of the pile of people and started to run out of the building and into the busy city. As she ran out she heard a deep scratchy voice yell,

" After her you mondrals!" Mazie ran down the sidewalk passing the busy streets next to her that glowed in the dark night sky. Mazie also passed multiple alleyways but it was when she took the risk to look back that she felt something on her. She tripped over her feet and fell to the ground. Mazie looked up and saw that a net was on top of her, and a cloaked figure stood next to her. The figure grabbed the end of the net with Mazie still trapped inside who said,

" Hey! Let me go!" The rest of the cloaked figures came over and Mazie heard the same creepy, scratchy voice say,

" Excelent work, my cloaks... now, bring her to me." With that the cloaked figures started walking down the sidewalk. Mazie tried to rip the net apart but it was to strong. Mazie then gave up and layed down in the net helplessly.

As they walked down the street Mazie felt helpless as she thought, I should be better than this, I'm a ninja... I guess I'm only strong when I'm with my friends. Just then she felt weird sensation of the net swinging back and forth, then stopped, shortly. Mazie looked up thinking, We couldn't have made it already. Suddenly, Mazie heard the sound of  people hitting the ground or the walls of buildings and their groans as they hit the walls. Finally Mazie saw a glimps of silver before it disappeared, and she knew who it was. Then she heard the voice come from the figure who held the net say,

" Run, you fool, get away from that ninja!" Mazie felt the net swerve and she looked back to see Jordan appear and pummled on by a few of the cloaked figures . Mazie winced as she said,

" Oh, Jordan... hurry up." Mazie then saw Jordan push the figures off her and ran towards the others who blocked her path. As she did she turned ivisible again. Suddenly Mazie felt Jordan kick the figure who held Mazie hostage. Mazie felt the man take the net with him but suddenly she felt Jordan pulling her out. Mazie stood on her feet and said,

" Thanks Jordan, but uh... how did you find me?" Jordan became visible again and said,

" I was walking down the street to come over and get something to eat so I wouldn't have to make something to eat and thats when I saw some cloaked people capture you." Mazie then looked around and saw the left over people closing in around them, Mazie then said,

" Uh, Jordan... I hope you have a plan that can help us get out of this mess?" Mazie heard Jordan say in reply,

" Of course I have a plan." With that Jordan took out a small ball and pressed a button that stuck out of the ball. She then made a tongue rolling sound as she dropped the ball. The ball suddenly started to diffuse smoke. Mazie couldn't see anything until she felt Jordan pulling her up into the air. Once they were out of the smoke Mazie was able to see that Jordan was just holding Mazie, while Jordan's Silverstike dragon was holding on to Jordan and flying away from the commotion. Mazie smiled up at Jordan and said,

" Thanks a bunch Jordan." Jordan looked down and said,

" No worrys, Why don't we go see if your dads home." Mazie nodded and thought, He might be home since mom didn't go on the trip... which means that she must have been taken hostage and changed to be under the control of someone. With that Silverdrop flew to the outskirts of the city. In the middle of the flight they stopped for a moment to let Mazie and Jordan climb onto Silverdrops back, then continued to the junk yard. Once they arrived Mazie slid down Silverdrops wing and went over to a trailer that had colorfull fairy lights strung along the top. Mazie opened the door and peeked inside asking,

" Dad, are you home?" The trailer was completly empty so Mazie came back to Jordan saying,

" He's not here." Jordan then said,

" Do you think that your dad got transformed into one of those cloaked people, too?" Mazie then said in reply,

" Yeah... maybe." Jordan sighed and said,

" Look, Mazie... they might know where you live, so they might come looking for you... why don't you come sleep with me tonight, you can sleep in my bed, I can sleep on the couch tonight." Mazie smiled sweetly and said,

" Thats very kind of you Jordan." With that she took Jordans hand to help Mazie back up onto Silverdrop then they flew back to the city.
