Fire

This is really just poetry

She watched the fire go ablaze

Standing in a day to day haze

Wondering what was different about today

And wondering why the world was so corrupt

That they would stand back and let a fire erupt

Sit, unable to hear her screams

Her words pulling apart at the seams

She slowly saw her world fade to black

And realized after this she wasn't coming back

She was too far gone

Unfixable

Just like garbage

She too was disposable.

In her eyes

The fire so bright

Her eyes glittering

From the light

She hated her life anyway

So why even fight

She has lost the will to live

No reason for it

She was only 16

But her heart would soon quit

Her body filled with hatred

For everyone around her

Society heavy on her shoulders

Because no one could accept her

So in the fire

She will breathe her last breath

Her body ached

with the feeling of burning to death

But this is what she wanted

And what she would get
