I grew up on a farm in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and outdoor adventures were daily events. I enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and learning. Young adulthood brought college, gymnastics, racing motorcycles, art, and spelunking. Next, I became a teacher, a distiller, an inventor, and a builder. After nearly forty years working as an engineer, I now add to the list, writer. My wife, Lisa, and I are longtime residents of middle Tennessee. We have three children, four grandchildren, and enjoy mission work and traveling the world.
I write from my experience with a generous helping of fabrication and exaggeration. Though I usually have some sketch of an outline, my imagination usually takes the wheel and only occasionally passes back through the outline.
I only really started writing less than a year ago and my second book is going out in days.
I hope you will take a look at some of my work and let me know what you think.
