People spend thousand more like millions of dollars to go to Sea World for what?  They use 12 million dollars to conservation and scientific research. I have gone once and it was  fun except for the part where I heard they are capturing animals. And you think for a minute ,would you like to be in a small tank without your friends and family.  I don’t think you would. So help the animals. If you don’t want to watch the animals and people get hurt then lets help the animals and not hurt them. Remember this, if you don’t want to hurt animals then help the animals.  All animals deserve to be free and not in tanks that are only 40 feet deep.

The whales keep getting sunburn. When the whales are in the sea they almost always avoid the sunlight because of sunburn. When the baby whale is born if it gets sunburn it will die.  And when male whales dorsal fins have collapsed that means they are unhealthy. In the wild killer whales can live up to 100 years old but in the tanks they only live 20 to 30 years.  Sea World is feeding the animals instead of letting the animal eat by them self. The animals are going to forget how to hunt for themselves so if they get released they will end up dying because they forgot how to hunt for their own food.

Sea World is not treating the animals right.  They are hurting the animals and now animals are fighting back because they are being hurt and dying.   The reason people are getting hurt is because the animals are getting extremely aggressive in captivity.  Like Tilikum(the whale)is usually docile or gentle in the wild. Tilikum was captured in 1972 and brought to Sea World.  He started getting so aggressive that he attacked several whale trainers. This is not uncommon behavior for captive Orcas.  There have been over 100 attacks from killer whales that were in 1989 to 1999.  Shamu only lived October 1965 and died in August, 1971. Killer whales (or orcas) are powerful predators capable of killing leopard seals and great white sharks. They have also been recorded preying on usually terrestrial species such as moose swimming between islands. In the wild, there have been no fatal attacks on humans and only one reported bite. John Hargrove had worked at Sea World for 14 years and was dragged under the water 10 times. The killer whales are swimming in chemically treated water. The whales are chewing on the grass and are breaking off there teeth. Dawn Brancho was killed by Tilikum.

That is why I think we should shut down Sea World.
