Dear God,

There is a broken bridge between you and me,

Information is not being relayed,

Or maybe I'm the one who is not listening.

Each time I try to mend the bridge,

A strong wind comes and destroys it.

Help me Lord,

To become an unwavering pillar!

Shunned by the same people,

he came to redeem.

Hated by those, 

he came to save.

Killed by those,

He came to heal.

Yet, his love unwavering,

He carried his burden,

Their own sin,

Weighing heavily on his shoulders.

He accepted their insults and taunts.

Yet for them to his Father he begged,

" Forgive them for they know not what they are doing."

Endless is his mercy,

For he forgives

Even at times I find it difficult

To forgive myself.

Endless is his love,

For he still cares 

Even when I ignore

Or pretend not to know.

Endless is the joy, 

I feel when he takes the lead

And leads me to greater heights.
