Once upon a time there lived a magical mermaid.Her name was Delyla.Her friends called her Lyla.Lyla was a blonde,light skin color, and a sky blue tail.Her parents died when she was 5 years old.The crabs promised her parents that they would protect Lyla if anything happened to them.So they did until Lyla became 16.When Lyla was 16 they let her  explore the world!

 "Lyla,make sure you come back at exactly when the clams clap 4 times"The crabs said with a frown on their faces."Ok I will"Said Lyla while she went swimming away to the clams.As soon as she met up with the clams she looked back sadly."Ok ,hi guys"Said Lyla."Do you need help".The clams shut and scared Lyla."Who are you"said one clam in the left."I'm Lyla the mermaid and daughter of Narisa and John"says Lyla in a bit of a scared voice.Lyla hears a sound and goes to see who is making it,she thought it was beautiful!When she looked around the corner she saw a boy.Not an ordinary boy,it was a boy with a tail!At first Lyla was scared but when the boy with a tail looked at her she felt weird as if she fell inlove.She blushed and asked "Are you a merman ,I heard rumors about mermen they were the ones who killed my father and mother,but of course my father was a merman but I have never heard of more mermen!".The ocean around them became quiet."Girl I have heard of mermaids and yes I am a merman.Lyla"says the merman.
