Introduction

Serena is beginning a new archetypal journey. She is the Haegtessa. a hedge Witch. Her craft is her own. not young nor old, she is no longer a Maiden and not yet a Crone. She will experience each Major Arcana in her own way as herself. Each one is a key that will unlock knowledge and growth.

Serena has called this Path to her. She is going forward willingly and understands the dangers and the healing. she has casted herself off from her past.

Her friend and companion Moonkip will be with her in these many guises.

As the cards, the keys, as each archetype progresses, so do Serena and Moonkip.

the Oracle starts off in darkness simply because most beginnings do.

there will be about 30 or more cards in this oracle. Maybe later i will do a Minor Arcana.

this journey begins in the Key of Zero, to play as music, to open each door,

and so we begin the begin.

Serena loved the Moon. Her blood was of the same blood. She closed her eyes and bathed in the tears.
The dark moon time was always her favourite time of the monthly cycle. it was a quiet and thoughtful time. a velvety darkness covered her and Moonkip in love.
Surrounded by black crystals and rocks of onyx, obsidian, and tourmaline, Serena felt protected and retreated to the safety of a nearby cave where Moonkip waited in the warm darkness.

Serena was not a fool. It may have seem foolish to leave but she was tired and had lost too much to stay. Her left ring finger still bled gently and the iridescent egg was tucked and sewn in a slit of her left wing.
Moonkip had shape shifted into a mug which made no sense to her until the practicality of the genius transformation registered in her brain.
Moonkip was never far away. He was of nothing and of everything. Tto look at him was confusing.

The dark Moon watched with love. It was all She could do. She had a heart. It was the ebb and flow of the the water and blood of the creatures.   that She circled around a blue green planet full of quiet. full of storms.

For with this, of no footsteps, of quiet breath, Serena of the StormBlood Clan  held Moonkip gently to let him know that all was well. They were safe. They were free. ( straightening her mask..)

Moonkip glimmered quietly. purred softly. The dark Black Moon embraced the outcasts. the casted out. the unwanted misfits.

With a Mother's tender relief, the Moon wept in silence.

Serena loved the Moon. Her blood was the same blood but that was a long time ago. She felt the tears and was refreshed. Moonkip lifted his face to the lunar salt water and relished  the nourishment. licking his furry scales.

The Moon began to smile at Moonkip and Serena. Everything was going to be okay.

The dark Moon kept the hush surreal and easy. She knew this was Serena's favourite moon cycle. It was a thoughtful and kind time of velvety darkness. an embrace of rest. of no time. of nothing and everything.

The two olde friends got up and made their way to shelter. a cave, hopefully abandoned and clean. Away from the turmoil
away from the pain
to rest
to sleep

Moonkip knew he would not be able to fit through the opening of the cave and took a puff of Serena's pipe. As he grew smaller, his scales smoothed out and his feathers turned into fur. Prisms shimmered around him until he was just the right size.for some reason tiny lavender moths appeared and dashed in and out of the glimmer he created.

Serena brought in her bat-like wings but not completely. She was not quite ready to relax and wanted to make sure that they could escape quickly if they needed to.

Moonkip lit up the cave and stalagmites, stalactites, and crystals sparkled in his light.

Serena opened her pouch of herbs and packed her pipe in hopes to see the internal and the Ancestors. They were always there. but she never could see them. the herbs were from her prior life. she would be needing to know these new plants that surrounded her.

Serena was not a fool. It may have seem foolish to leave but she was tired and had lost too much to stay. Her left ring finger still bled  and the iridescent egg was tucked and sewn in a slit of her left wing.
Moonkip had shape shifted into a mug which made no sense to her until the practicality of the genius transformation registered in her brain.
Moonkip was never far away. He was of nothing and of everything. Tto look at him was confusing.
His face was feline. His body large of the ancient Dragon seahorses.
but that was another life.

Everything was dark. mist followed her footsteps and slowly dissipated into nothing. smoke circled her head in rings. coiling, hissing whispers of ancient tales.

Moonkip was never far away from Serena. To look at him was confusing. His face seemed feline yet sometimes canine. his body resembled an awkward seahorse and regal water dragon.
Once upon a time, long, long ago, Serena had swam in a distant ocean. on a distant planet.
She had raced with the sea dragons. she had never seen anyone that looked like her. her  velvet wings large and black. her skin soft pearl grey.  her aqua eye the colour of Moonkip's favourite seaweed.  She was not beautiful but it never mattered to her.

mugwort. crone wort. crone work .
she could swim.
she could swim.
she learned to hold her breath for hours..

Serena searched the cave holding her left hand. it began bleeding again.
her left ring finger, gone.
and Moonkip.. well, he felt odd. but at least he was with the serene one. his serenity and charge.

all at once they sighed. all a t once they decided that it was safe. safe in the cave. safe where they were. in the momement. in this moment. and so the traveller's exhausted fell asleep. under the heavy blanketed sky . adored by the Moon.

for moonkip was the Moon's son. brought to life and unknowing to Serena he became her protector, guardian.

one day Serena found Moonkip "floating there" he was waiting for her. "he was waiting for me"  " a delectation to the moment:" she would tell her family.  (finish later) ( not sure)

she carries the egg ( shape of the key zero) serena as the fool. darkness. white hair/iridescent. star lights on her cheeks. white mask. iridescent. bone like. black . red.  wearing the mask of the cosmos. of the universe. uni means one. verse means song. God.

every scar tells a story.  with every key she carves/creates a symbol on her body or moonkip's
