BAM! Alex looked up from his book as a prominent bang resounded from the kitchen. Honestly, he thought, what had his brother Flynn gotten up to this time? Alex was a 15 year old white skinned, black haired boy who loved to read books, never went outside, and had nearly no friends. His brother was popular though. He rounded the corner into the kitchen, but Flynn wasn’t there. There was... something there though. It looked purple and human like, but slimy and tentacles for limbs. As it turned around, Alex realised it didn’t even have a face and froze.

Alex whirled around and started to run, but the... thing was surprisingly fast and it caught up quickly. Just as it was about to strike, Flynn jumped out of nowhere and stabbed a kind of glowing sword adorned with runes into it, and it dissolved into thin air. “It was a demon,” Flynn spat. “Come on, I have some explaining to do.” Flynn explained that there are Demons all around, but humans can’t see them. He also said there is going to be an invasion, and a group of Demon Hunters are preparing to stop it.

“Now, all Demon Hunters have magical powers. We just need to find out what yours is, so first try focusing on summoning something.” Flynn explained. Alex used all his willpower to focus on summoning a chocolate bar, and one flew out of the blue and smacked him hard in the face. He tried harder this time, and the chocolate bar flew into his mouth, but very hard and nearly choking him. He tried even harder this time, straining all of his willpower, and another chocolate bar flew smoothly into his mouth, like a plane landing on a runway. Soon after, him and Flynn saw the HQ.

Alex’s first instinct was to arm himself, something didn’t feel right. He thought of having a weapon, and a sword came rushing to him and hovered there. He thought of pushing it into his hand and it

 instantly flew there, and everything seemed safe. But that was before he heard a booming voice call out, “WHO GOES THERE?” SMASH! A gargantuan Demon smashed through the HQ. It looked like a humanoid, but was light purple with the head of a bull and a flaming blue mane. He heard Flynn’s voice yell out “Hit the back of his head! It’s his weak spot!” Alex nodded and turned to face the Demon, Ragnor. He used his telekinesis to grab a giant throwing spear, and it sped over to Ragnor. The Demon swiftly moved out of the way, but in doing so it revealed the back of it’s head. Alex used telekinesis on the sword, and it flew towards Ragnor. The sword slashed its head off, and it crumpled to the ground. Since it was now destroyed, the invasion had stopped. They celebrated all night.

Lately Alex became more social, because he had realised it was great to have friends, so he was fitting in a lot better, and wasn’t getting teased anymore. Right after his friends had left, he summoned some snacks over to him with his telekinesis, which had improved. He also had to slay demons sometimes, so he could say he was a master of two worlds.
