Hi everyone!! This is my first fanfiction ever! Also there are going to be a lot of twists and turns in this book. I hope you like it! All credit for characters, places, etc goes to J.K Rowling. Thanks for reading! Now on to the story.
I felt cold, darkness still engulfing my vision. Two names flashed in my mind. My husband's and my sons.
Groaning, I opened my eyes. As I sat up, I squinted and rubbed them, my fiery red hair cascading down my back. I blinked twice, when I realized something.
Why am I on the floor?
Slowly I sat up and walked towards the door; I placed my ear on it and listened. Silence.
Why isn't my husband making breakfast?
Desperately, I looked around the room and saw my son's crib. That was when last night's events hit me like a pile of bricks. I could feel myself slightly hyperventilating.
No. No. No. No. This couldn't of happened. It's impossible. They're just playing a trick on me...they have to be. Check the bed! Check the bed! He'll be there!
Slowly, I walked over to the crib and saw a small blanket with a pillow. Yet he wasn't there
"I've failed you my son... I've failed you."
(Starting at the burrow)
Life at the burrow was a lot better than my aunt and uncles house. The whole place just had a livelier vibe. We were eating breakfast when an owl flew in through the window.
Or at least, it tried. The owl ended up crashing into the window, and fell down.
"Percy grab that letter from Errol ,will you?" Mrs. Weasley asked. Percy, swallowed down his lunch, got up and went over to the window. He opened, and grabbed the mail from Errol's beak.
"Oh look it's our Hogwarts letters!" Percy said, as he shuffled through the letters. "They gave us Harry's as well."
Mr. Weasley swallowed down his food. "Dumbledore must know you're here Harry. Doesn't miss a trick that man." He chuckled and continued eating.
Percy handed out the letters to each of us. Mine read:

"This lot won't come cheap mum" Fred said.
"We'll manage" Mrs. Weasley said, biting her lip. As I continued eating my food, an unrecognizable owl flew gracefully through the window. It landed near me and I quickly swallowed my mouthful of food and took the letter. I opened the letter and started to skim through it, smiling when I saw name of the person who wrote it.
"Hey Ron!" I said
Ron, who was shoveling food in his mouth, gave a muffled reply, which I didn't understand.
"It's from Hermione!" I exclaimed. Then, I started reading with Ron looking over my shoulder, still chewing.
Dear Ron, and Harry if you're there
" I hope everything went all right and that Harry is okay. You better didn't do anything illegal to get him out, Ron, because that would get Harry in trouble too. I've been really worried and if Harry is all right, will you please let me know at once? But perhaps it would be better if you used a different owl, because I think another delivery might finish your one off. I'm very busy with schoolwork, of course and we're going to London tomorrow to buy my new books. Why don't we meet in Diagon Alley? Let me know what's happening as soon as you can.
"Hermione wants to meet us at Diagon Alley tomorrow." I announced to the Weasleys
"Well that's settled then!" Mrs .Weasley said. "We'll go to Diagonally tomorrow morning." she said happily. After sending a reply to Hermione we sat back down and continued our meal.
Once we finished breakfast we went outside to play quidditch. Since Ginny really wanted to play we made Percy play too so we could do a 3 on 3 match. The teams were Percy, Fred, and I, and the other team contained Ginny, George, and Ron. We all walked to get our brooms from the shed
The game started quite peacefully, the twins throwing Dung bombs at everyone, Ron was fumbling the Quaffle too many times too count, and Percy was attempting to smack George and Ron with his wand. Ginny, perhaps other than me, was probably the only one actually playing.
"Catch me if you can, Potter!" She laughed and zoomed off with the Quaffle. I shook my head dragging myself out of my thoughts, and chased after her.
No matter how many times I tried to catch her, she'd somehow avoid me. If I sped up? She'd take a sharp turn and I would nearly crash into a tree. If I did a barrel roll like a hawk? She'd zoom forward and I'd just miss crashing into the ground, almost becoming a pancake.
As I zoomed towards Ginny, trying to stop her from scoring, she took a dive and flew right above ground. I was just barely able to avoid smashing into the ground.
"And that's another goal for me!" Ginny threw her hands up in the air and whooped. "In your face Potter!" She zoomed off toward the Weasley house, carrying the Quaffle.
Her hair looks so pretty when she's flying...
"Hey Ginny want to play Quidditch with us?" Harry said coming up to me.
My heart raced and I stuttered "Y-yeah okay." Inwardly I hit myself. Seriously Ginny? Stuttering? I sighed and I followed him outside.
After we all got a broom we soared into the sky. I saw Harry staring at me and I blushed. I kept doing loops to warm up. Not that I needed to be any warmer of course. The game started as I expected. The twins causing mischief and Percy smacked the other team with spells, and an occasional chicken appearing from his wand. Ron kept on fumbling the Quaffle.
I, was doing as fine as usual. I'd caused Harry to nearly slam into the ground and run into trees too many times to count. Flying forward, at least 20 meters in front of Harry I yelled "Catch me if you can, Potter!"
I sped forward to the makeshift goal of two trees. Ron was sleeping on the ground leaving the goal unprotected, yet Harry was behind me, trying to catch up. I simply dove, and flew along the ground. Then, flying up again I threw the Quaffle in the goal. Grabbing it as I swooped around the goal I tucked it under my arms and laughed.
"And that's another goal for me!" I threw my hands up in the air and whooped. "In your face Potter!" I zoomed off toward my home side, carrying the Quaffle. As I flew past Harry, I just momentarily made eye contact with him and blushed. His eyes are so beautiful...
We had surprisingly played until dinner and before we knew it we had to go to bed. Ron and I said goodnight to the girls before getting into our beds. Exhausted I closed my eyes and immediately fell asleep.
The next morning I woke up to the amazing smell of breakfast but unfortunately, that wasn't what woke me up. There was a huge explosion coming from Fred and George's room, and I raced down the stairs to see what happened.
"Don't worry everything's fine!" Fred said sticking his head out their smoke filled room. Laughing I went downstairs. Everyone was rushing about getting ready. So I sat down and started to eat. Then Mrs. Weasley came in and saw me eating slowly.
"Oh sorry dear but we are in quite a hurry. Do you mind eating a little faster?" she asked me kindly.
"I'm so sorry. Of course!" I responded. I quickly gobbled up the rest of my food and went upstairs to get washed up and changed.
Within half an hour, everyone was in front of the fireplace ready to go.
"Well, guests first." Mrs. Weasley said kindly. She held out a weird looking powder inside a pot.
"Umm, sorry but what is that?" I asked.
"Oh that's right you've never traveled by floo powder before. Here Ron show him how it's done." Mrs. Weasley said holding out the pot to Ron instead. I watched very closely not wanting to miss a thing.
Ron stepped forward, grabbed a handful, stepped into the fireplace, and yelled "Diagon Alley!" With a puff of green smoke he disappeared.
"See dear it's not that hard. Just remember so say it very clearly." Mrs. Weasley said, holding out the pot to him once again.
I took some in my hand, stepped into the fireplace. "Diagon alley!" With that, the Burrow vanished from view.
3rd person P.O.V
Once Harry opened his eyes he was shocked. He ended up coming out of the fireplace in the Leakey cauldron where Ron was waiting for him. Ron helped him up and they just stared at the fireplace. One by one, the Weasley family came, and at the end came Arthur.
"Well let's not waste any time" Mrs.Weasley said briskly. "Gilderoy is going to be signing his books at 3 so just be at Flourish and Blots by then okay?" Mrs.Weasley asked.
"Yes." everyone chorused.
"Well I need new robes" Harry said.
"So do I" Ginny said quickly. Hermione looked at Ginny and grinned. While Ron just looked mad and stared at the wall moodily.
"How about let's all go and get some new ones then?" Mrs.Weasley asked. "Okay everyone will have a buddy. Harry dear can you be with Ginny?" Mrs.Weasley asked me.
"I guess so." Harry responded.
"Ron dear you will be with Hermione" Mrs.Weasley said. Surprisingly Ron's mood brightened at these words. "Fred with George, don't make me regret this decision you two! Percy you can go with your father and I will go with Ginny." So again, everyone remember you need to always be with your partner and meet at Flourish and Blots by 3.
Her words were met with a chorus of "Ok"s.
"Right then off you go." Mrs.Weasley said. "So! Where should we go first? How about the robe shop since it's the closest to here." Mrs.Weasley told us.
"Sure" Harry said. We opened the door and then headed inside.
"Hello dears! What can I get for you?" Madam Malkin asked us.
"They both need to be fitted for new robes." Mrs.Weasley told her.
"Okay. Who would like to go first?" Madam Malkin asked.
"I can" Harry said shrugging. She measured him like how she did in his last year. Around the waist, around the arm (much to Harry's embarrassment), shoulder to foot, arm length, and shoulder to waist.
"All right you just stay here" she told Harry. A few minutes later she came back holding a full length Gryffindor robe. "Try this on dear." Madam Malkin told Harry. Harry slipped it on him and it surprisingly fit perfectly.
"Okay now it's your turn dear" Madam Malkin told Ginny. So Ginny stepped forward and tentatively walked toward the lady with about a million measuring tapes and pins.
