Hi there.  My name is Janna, it's pronounced as Yanna.  I started this journal because my teacher said that I should write daily and keep my thoughts stored in a book like a diary instead of keeping them to myself.  So I have something to pour my ideas into and creating less stress and anger management.  But this is not a diary, it is a journal.  And, that's final.  I am 14, I know I’m pretty old.  In fact I’m over 1000 days old.  Okay, ciao.  :)

It’s the middle of winter, not really it’s just November; it’s freezing outside. All I want is to cuddle in a bunch of heated blankets and drink hot chocolate or warm milk.  But I can’t, not right now though.  I was walking through the cold night back home from my part time job.  My fingers were frozen solid trying to find warmth in my pocket.  My toes were trying to huddle among each other to stay warm.  Ahead of me, I see a man and my first thoughts were that he was smoking.  I held my breath, I didn’t want to inhale any of the smoke, I quickened my pace and I noticed that this man wasn’t smoking any cigarettes; in fact he wasn’t smoking at all.  It was just really cold and you could see his breath.  I imagined myself as a fire breathing dragon, perhaps Charizard from Pokemon, I blew out air and pretended that my breaths were flames.  I was fighting another Pokemon, it was Snover.  Charizard is a large orange fire type Pokemon while Snover is a small white ice type Pokemon.  It was the battle against the 7th gym leader of Sinnoh, Candice, and I really needed this badge.  I envisioned that I had to melt Snover with my flames, it was super effective.  Snover fainted, I got my badge, and at long last I reached my house.  I walked in and embraced in the heat, it felt awesome.

From my high school experience so far, the 3 months, I have learnt to never question math or science logic.  Like why is 2+2 4?  It would make a lot of sense if it was 22.  And 1+1= window by the way.  Not window as in Windows 8, but the window.  Why do this certain element from the periodic table and that certain element also from the periodic table make this random next element?  Because it's science.  Science is way too scientific for me, I liked doing it back in elementary school because your constantly doing experiments.  Fun stuff.  But now in high school your just sitting in class taking notes from a powerpoint.  I know I shouldn’t be complaining, university is going to get worse.  So it’s final I guess, never question math or science logic.  Just memorize the numbers and stuff for the test.
