A bus ride from Park Royal Hotel to Melakka Sentral

Park Royal is one of those hotels that exceeds every ones expectations. It is located right beside China Town MRT Station on Pickering Road. The hotel boasts of some of the most magnificent views of the city’s skyline as well as the never-ending oceans. The hotel guest rooms are completely air-conditioned and are equipped with a personal safe, a flat screen TV and a fully loaded mini bar. Additional services like luggage storage, laundry and babysitting services are available on request at the front desk of this hotel, which is located on the ground floor. The front desk operates 24 hours of the day and hence so do all the services. The best part about this hotel is that the hotel has dedicated its first floor to Wellness activities like gymming, swimming and walking.  The hotel also has a 24-hour fitness centre for the gymming enthusiasts. Free Wi-Fi is not limited to the guest rooms but is available across the entire premises.

My initial plan was never to stay at this hotel but based on the suggestion of a friend and while booking my bus tickets from redbus.sg the pickup point for my Bus to Malaysia was this hotel. My experience at this hotel has made up my mind to visit it once again as I had the best of time during the last lap of my Singapore tour.  If you are one of those couch potatoes, you can relax at the sun terrace or keep yourself busy with a pampering massage at the Spa. If you are a true foodie, make sure to visit the Lime restaurant that serves an exciting mix of Asian and International Cuisine in a single dish amidst a modern and warm atmosphere. There is also a roof top Orchid Club Lounge, which is reserved for the Club Room Guests. The lounge offers a mind-blowing 360-degree view of the city skyline.

Various Bus Operators have their booths located at the ground floor of this hotel. This makes the hotel one of the perfect places to stay at, before you depart on your Malaysia Tour. There were about 4 popular Operators plying on the route between Melakka Sentral and Park Royal Hotel. However, I have figured out that Konsortium Express, Starmart Express and KKKL Tours are the most preferred ones amongst the locals here. Konsortium has about 3 buses plying throughout the entire day and purely operates all luxury coaches. There are about 30 seats in each bus with ample legroom and the cost of the tickets start from SGD35, which as per my opinion is quite reasonable considering this class of travel.  Starmart Express and KKKL Tours operate executive coaches for the ones who are a little tight on their budget. The fares for these buses start from SGD25. Starmart Express and KKKL Tours and Travel both have 2 buses plying the entire day starting from 7:30 am in the morning till noon. Book your bus tickets at a time that is closest to your check out time with the hotel.
