Finally! I'm moving back to Korea tomorrow! I've spent the last 7 years in America, studying medicine to become a doctor. I miss my family and friends so much. Even though I've been texting them, it's different from actually seeing them in person.

So far, I've packed everything in my suitcase, and it's standing beside mine and my roommates bed. "Rosé, I'm  gonna miss you!" Says my roommate friend, Lisa. I've been friends with Lisa since the first day of university, we've been through everything together...

"I know, I'll miss you as well, but promise to stay in contact?" I say sadly. "Promise" Lisa says. I'm just so overwhelmed, I'm finally a doctor, well when I go back to Korea, but looking back, I've had so many good memories and I know that I'm gonna cherish them all forever...

"Better go to bed now, Rosé, you have a busy day tomorrow!" Lisa says. "Goodnight Lisa!" I say switching the light off. "Goodnight!"

~Next Morning~

~6:00 AM~

RING RING RING!!!

Urgh, my stupid alarm! I think to myself. I lazily reach over to my desk and turn my alarm off dreading my lessons. Suddenly, I get a brain wave and remember that today I'm taking a flight back to Korea. Omggg, no way! I quickly get out of bed, and go to the bathroom. I brush my teeth, have a shower and get dressed. I decide to wear black jeans with a black crop top and my healed boots. I blow-dry my hair and straighten it. I have a dark red dip-dye at the tips of my hair. After doing my make-up, I wake up Lisa. "Yah, Lisa, I'm ready, wake up!" I say. Lisa squints her eyes open at me. "What? Omg!" She sits up. "Noooo, your leaving today!" She says. "Yeah, Lisa please stop saying that!" Every time I hear that, it makes me sad. 

"Okay, okay sorry, I'm gonna get ready now!" She says, opening the bathroom door and disappearing behind it. I'm so scared and so happy at the same time.

~30 minutes later~

After eating breakfast, we leave the University after checking my suitcase one last time. Lisa unlocks her car and I shove my suitcase in it and sit down at the front. Lisa turns the engine on and starts driving.

All I can think about is my family and how excited I am to finally see them...7 years later. "So are you gonna stay here, in America?" I ask Lisa, trying to make conversation. "No, I'm gonna go back to New Zealand" she tells me. "Oh okay" 

We just sit in silence for the rest of the journey. 

~1 hour later~

Lisa suddenly stops the car and I look outside. We're here at the airport. I unbuckle my seatbelt and get out the car. Lisa has already taken my stuff out for me. "Well, I guess this is it!" Lisa says standing opposite me. "Lisa I'm gonna miss you!" I say, hugging her. I'd have never imagined a day like this ever happening...but here it is.

We both hug for what feels like forever and we break apart. I see that Lisa is silently crying, but I'm trying my hardest not to, cause once I cry, I can never stop. 

"Bye, take care Rosé!" My best friend says to me. "Bye, I'll text you once I'm there okay?" I say softly. "Okay" I see Lisa wave at me on last time, before getting back into her car and driving away. 

I feel tears in my eyes, but I blink them back and enter the airport. My suitcase get departed from me and I get checked by security. 

Finally, what felt like years later, I board the plane and sit down, looking outside the window...this is the last time I'm gonna see America....
